Dr. Feather is knowledgeable in her area of expertise. I didn't once feel like she didn't know what she was talking about. (With regards to music.) Her ability to act professional is questionable, however. I can remember a couple of times when she insulted the class outright. She doesn't always keep her personal opinion from getting in the way.

I had Doctor Feather for Speech. She taught less than she talked about current events and history. If you want to do well in her speech class, learn quick, know current events (i.e. current Tennessee statesmen elected) and then you're fine, but if you're shy, quiet, and don't want to give speeches or late on giving them, you'll find her difficult

She is very clear in her expectations. If you work for your grade you will get an A. She does a VERY good job of pushing her students to become very proficient speakers. Her classroom attitude is very casual, but also attentive. I HIGHLY recommend her.

if you do what you are supposed to do, everything's fine.She DOES NOT interrupt you during your speech,but will correct you right after it.Particular about music class,all that is asked of you is to learn the notes you take in class,just like any other.people expect to get a free ride but you wont get it here.people are lazy that speak bad of her.

you like her or not. i liked her because i did good in her class. i sat next to a person that HATED her. just depends on how good of a speeker you are. she is strict on grading, but rightfully so. proper grammer and use of words are a must. and when she gives you your grade, she will tell you what she thinks, a part of her that i like.

Not a good teacher. She is too critical and unprofessional. If you don't do or say exactly what she wants to hear, you will not do well. And, even if you wanted to say and do everything she wanted to hear, she makes it impossible. She is very unpleasant. Avoid like the plague.

Unprofessional, she may know what she is teaching. But her inappropiate comments and attitude make it impossible to learn. Simply obtaining a PHD doesn't make one a qualified and adequate intructor. Unprofessional--advise all to avoid her instruction!!
