incredibly unhelpful and uninteresting. Assignments are confusing and pointless and students are not given sufficient time to develop ideas. Flax gives no time or attention to individual students. Her art may have been groundbreaking 20 years ago . . .

Insanely arrogant and lazy. Teaches grad students the same class as undergrads which makes you question the value of the class. If you make her mad she will ensure that you don't get a good grade. Her instructions are confusing and obtuse.
