You must have a serious work ethic when it comes to studying because there's 4 test, 60 multiple choice, 10 fill in blanks, and each with two essays (15 sentences each). Everything she says is on the test. Amazing teacher if you aren't a lazy student but you MUST study. I've taken many of her psychology classes. no phones, no talking, focused class

Absolutely amazing professor:) I've taken four psychology courses with her, received all A's. Graded on 4 tests, gives some extra credit (5 points on test if you go to a seminar presentation). Easy available outside class. All her test are based on her notes in class "every word she says will be on the test so write everything down and STUDY HARD"

Pretty good teacher and easy class if you do the work. Grades consisted of 5 planned tests and 5 surprise quizzes. The lowest quiz score and the lowest test score both get dropped, and the 4 remaining quizzes are combined to equal 1 test score. Those 5 test scores make up your grade, so if you do the work this is an easy A

Professor Hopper is my favorite. When you have an issue with anything, even if its not class related she is always open to talk to. She will give you feedback and advice as what to do. Class is good if you read and prepare for class, and take good notes. I will take another class with her in the near future

I absolutely LOVE Professor Hopper! She is a fun, easy-going person! If you do what is expected of you and pay attention in class, you will pass with no problem! I had her for PSY 101 and I loved her so much I had to take her again. She is just one of those teachers that clearly enjoys what she does! I would definitely recommend taking her classes!

Wow!! I loved this class. One couldn't ask for a better professor than her. She's professional, gets her point across, looks for ways to relate the topics to the students and tells you up front what her teaching and grading policies are. Get the book, show up, read at home, participate and you'll earn a nice grade. Easy on the eyes too!!

There are 5 pop quizzes. But, there are 5 tests. You should probably read the book. Hopper gets kind of annoyed if you don't read and if everyone doesn't do spectacularly on the test. But in general she's pretty nice and willing to help people do better in class.

If you need to take Psychology take it with Professor Hopper. Her lectures are intresting and they keep you engaged. You will have pop quizes every few weeks, this is to help you stay focused in the class and make sure you are studying. What's on the quizes gives you a good idea what will be on the test. She gives you a study sheet as well :-)

This professor was awful. I studied my butt off and my test grades did not reflect what I truly knew. Her tests were not worded the same as the way she presented information in class. When she asked the class how they felt about her tests, we responded, and she said: "If someone can't understand the question, clearly they don't belong in college"

She's great. The very first day she will let you know what to expect. Some people tend to struggle with the course because either they don't pay attention or they didn't study. She trys her best to help and will answer any questions you have, but you do have to study in order to pass.

If you're content with being told that you have the reading material and that she doesn't need to thoroughly go over it with you then by all means take this class. If you are like me, however, and need more than just reading assignments from your professor then I really don't recommend this class.

Professor Hopper is a great professor. Really enjoyed this class and learned a great deal. Her syllabus was outlined well and very clear. As long as you participate in discussion and submit your written assignment (weekly), you will have no problem in this class.

Where do I begin. I took child PSY with her in class and abnormal PSY with her online. She is a completely different teacher in class then online. In class her leactures are interesting and the workload is light. Online she is extremely nit picky, the workload is very heavy, and the coarse is challenging yet doable. I enjoyed both coarses though!
