By far one of the worst teachers ive had at this university. She does not explain anything well at all. When students try to ask for clarification, she gets mad that they don't understand and gives them sassy answers or says they should know it. When doing examples, she gets a fair amount of calculations wrong. Her test grading is very harsh.

Very clear and straightforward teacher. Doesn't use textbook but covers same material. Knows her stuff inside and out. Throws no curveballs, everything is exactly as she tells you on the first day. Answers questions well. Knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent teacher. Notes relate directly to homework and the homework is just like the tests. Took her for both MA 243 and MA 345 and learned a lot. Dont need the textbook either which is a plus

EXCELLENT!!! These math teachers at Riddle just keep getting better. Differential Equations is a breeze with this lady. She doesn't ever skip steps like a lot of math teachers do and she keeps the class very involved. I would recommend her to anyone who is a math person. Not sure how you'd like her if you don't like math, though. Love her teaching

This teacher is an extremely strict grader. Her classes are very difficult to follow. I know someone who took her class two semesters in a row and then ended up leaving the school. If you know your students understand the material, don't grade strictly. If she helps you with your homework, she doesn't let you take it for reference. I DONT recommend

She's a sweet lady. At first I thought she was going to fast but I was able to keep up with the homework and she always helped in the office when I couldn't. My only complaints are she isn't neat and doesn't use a text book so I can use cramster. I got the highest grade on the final exam by 7 points with out stuyding. She mustve done sumthin right

She was a great professor. Many dont like her but I like that she is very repetitive about formulas. SHe is always available at her office hours and will help you with whatever you need. She is good about explaining something again if you ask her to. I also like that she gives out a packet with all the homework for the entire semester.

Prof. Jacobs is really great! She derives anything she uses and does plenty of examples. The homework is challenging, but appropriate. The homework isn't too time consuming either becuase it's usually only about 10 questions. The tests are just like the homework: clear, appropriate, and related. Definitely take her for anything she teaches!

She would not explain the background to subject which allow to better understand why they are used. Had no control if the class and allowed people to talk during class. Did not answer question in class clearly, choosing to finish the lecture stating that the class would understand at the end. I would not recommend her.

She's a really great professor and does a lot of examples to clear things up. She makes sure to derive most everything she uses and her homework and tests are really easy. She gives out some extra credit and has a nice grading policy. I had her for MA243 last semester and it was the same. She's really smart and I feel like I know the material!!
