Professor Kotzman is awesome. Best math professor I have had so far, she knows how to explain so that students understand and if you are still unsure she will sit with you individually until you can complete problems with no mistakes. She really cares about her students and does not want to see anyone fail.

Shes awesome! Such a sweet lady with a great personality. Most of the work is on Mymathlab and there is an unlimited amount of tries so you can guess through your homework. Theres a few assignments but they are easy. She gives notes before exams and its just an overall easy grade.

Prof. Kotzman was very helpful. You're allowed one sheet of paper for cheatsheet, also gives trigger notes to use for tests. Tests aren't hard, no homework besides normal study habits. No leniency on missing class/leaving early. Made calc fun and easy to understand. Highly recommend!

Prof. K is awesome. Super nice lady, the work is ridiclously easy which is all group work and in class and there are no tests or quizes!! Another plus is that were outta class pretty much 40-50 min early every class if you finish the work. You NEED the textbook but it's easy. Plus, I've looked on this site before, Prof. Kwas the best. Take her!!!

Kotzman is easy in the fact that she assigns no tests, just projects and most grades are group-work. BUT she gives very little explanation on any assignments and be warned missing even 1 class can lower your grade significantly. To top it off the final is the biggest joke of York College. Initially seems easy but the work is not what it is worth.

Took her for Applied Calc. Mrs. Carol is a great teacher. All notes are clearly typed up and handed to you. TESTS are open book. I learned a lot from her without the class being ridiculously hard.

Applied Calculus - This professor is ridiculously easy. 5 exams, one of which is take-home. All exams are open note, and notes are meticulously provided in class. TEXTBOOK IS NOT REQUIRED. I got a 4 without it. The only way you'd get less than a 4 is to not attend classes. Definitely recommend her.

Very Easy A. Grades are based mostly on in class work and projects. She explains everything clearly. The projects are easy too, oh and no tests. Even if your absent you can make up the work without too much trouble. Id take her again even though I hate math.

Grading is based almost completely on in-class group work, so even one absence can really affect your grade. She teaches this class like it is a review - so if you need things to be explained, take a different professor. She also seems to favor teaching older adults, and had made rude remarks based on her own stereotype of young college students.

She still teaches at the high school level and i had her in high school for two diffrent classes. She wont let you fail and will do everything she can to help you get an A. She breaks every thing down to easy to do steps that are easy to remember. I would take her class.

She is an absolutely awesome teacher. Very clear about what she wants and how she wants it, but teaches you everything beforehand. I would recommend her to anyone. If you can't get an A in the class then you don't belong in it. There are no tests and though what seems like alot of work it's A OK
