LOVE HER, LOVE HER, LOVE HER!!! She was able to make it to where I understood what Algebra is about. I feel confident I will make the grade in my future required math classes. I am in an Aleks class. She was helpful when I needed explanation.

Finding out I had to take her again was one of the worst days of my life. She's incredibly rude and snaps at her students and very unprofessional. She spoke to my coworker of MINE about my "confidence level" in class. WHO DOES THAT? I certainly don't have a confidence problem with math... but certainly a problem with her ethics and teachings.

After asking a question in class, she bit back with "don't be dumb." After that, it was easy to not ask her anything. If you are not excelling in her class, she doesn't have patience for you. Her lack of patience for some students SHOWS. Would not take again. I always lef wwith a headache too bc her voice is BOOMING!

Prof Wood is a no non-sense kind of teacher. I just finished her 8 week class and she has to teach from the time class starts until it ends. If you go to the bathroom you'll miss something. This lady knows her stuff! If you really want to earn the material this is the teacher to sign up with.

I aced this class after failing algebra years ago. Most of the other comments are spot on on how much she cares and the extra time she puts in for everyone. If you take the 8 week, you cannot miss a single class. I wish I could take her all the way through Calc. And use the free tutors in the math lab.

This is the BEST math teacher I have ever had and I wish she was teaching my class next semester. She is very helpful, funny, and a bit loud (which is a good thing with math). She genuinely cares about her students passing and understanding the material. Totally awesome.

Great teacher. If you have sensitive hearing don't sit near the whiteboards, as she is loud! But she cares about students passing and dumbs things down. No accent. Clear explanations. Just DO THE HOMEWORK if you ever hope to pass the tests. Love her!

I seriously cannot rate this professor higher! By far my favorite teacher ever. Before this class I despised math, and was truly awful at it. Now I actually understand and even kind of like math. She really is that amazing. You must take her class, it will change your outlook on math I swear to god!

She is the grestest teacher ever!!!! For someone who return back to school after 30 years and didn't know much, Ms. Wood is an excellent teacher. She make sure you can understand just what you are doing and can pass. I will take her again, again and again. Hopefully she is teaching my other math classes I need!!!!!

I really like Ms. Wood's class and the reason is because she cares if you pass or fail her class, she wants everyone to pass. I also liked her cause she talked to us like we were complete idiots and that way she couldn't lose us. Do her homework even though she doesnt grade it, it will help you pass the state test.
