Comment:

Yea she can be sweet but that doesn't change the fact that her class is very hard to pass since her tests are so difficult. Grading criteria is also very unclear. I usually get As but even though I worked my ass off I will probably only get a C according to her (she thought a C was a great grade so that should really say something).

Comment:

Prof. Eisen is the sweetest lady and it is clear that she is meant to teach math. However, she is very old school and does not grade homework. Your grade is only the four tests/quizzes you take so its easy to get a bad grade if youre not a test taker like me. Otherwise, best teacher ive had at explaining how to do a problem.

Doesn't even give out a syllabus. Homework is extra credit, tests are 4-8 questions, so get one wrong and it heavily affects your grade. Blames failure on you and very degrading, as in, corrects your work in a way that makes you feel really humiliated. No office hours, just talks after class. Also made us give up free hour for two extra classes.

One of the best professors I have ever come across. Professor Eisen is so helpful she lets you put homework on the board to boost your grades up and she will take all her time to go over the hw problems even if it leaves her with less time for her lessons. YEA 100 % TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!

This class is ridiculously hard, but it's not impossible. Lectures are pretty clear. SHOW up to every class, do ALL the homework problems to completion (google if necessary), practice about an hour a week (3 hours+ the week before a test). She will give you the topics on the test beforehand so you will know what to study. Do this for a B- at worst

Her tests are absurd and she grades them harshly. Doing the hw she assigns and paying attention to her lectures won't even prepare you for them. Find a better professor. DO NOT take this one.

She is the only math professor I've had who teaches in a way that the students will actually understand. Calculous 151 is a hard course and you will need to study with any professor so don't expect an easy A.

This professor was the worst maths teacher Ive had up till this point of my education. She is low spoken with a cursive handwriting that is not very clear. She is very uncaring and not helpful at all. She is not understanding

prof. Eissen is very rude ;she judges people and belittles you. She will not be discrete if you have a failing grade on one of her exams (which is easy to get because her exams are super difficult and not related to what she taught). DON'T TAKE HER!!!

extremely hard class , DO NOT TAKE the tests are sooo hard and she gives so much homework, if you miss one day of class good luck. cant use calculator during her tests and shes very rude, if you do something in a different way than her she will say its wrong and put you on the spot. absolutely worst teacher for Pre Calc

She is a harsh grader, if you don't do it the way she taught it(even though you have the right answer)she will take off points. Throughout all of my schooling I was encouraged to find different ways to do problems so I don't understand why she takes off points for doing it a different way. She takes off for other small mistakes too, which adds up.

Attend ALL lectures! She writes good notes on the board and it helps with the homework. I am not that spectacular at math but she explains it so well that I feel confident enough to do the homework. I only wished she wrote her own textbook. Downside: no syllabus, and no office number available. Just speak her though if you are having problems.

I applied for a PNC and she gave me a W, The worst math professor in Queens College. She give no lie like 100 H.W. Problems a day, so much that its hard to even do homework. very judgmental and arrogant, hates her job. and will hurt your grade. does not care about people. skip her if you can

One of the worst Prof in my entire life. She deducts points for minor mistakes. Dont take any other classes if you want to pass this course with her. The course itself is tough and if the prof make it more tougher expect what? Fail.

She does not give syllabus and doesn't think that your entitled to one, there is no way to reach her outside of class (not technologically inclined) unless you hunt her down, excessive class time more than alloted makes keeping appointments hard, you wouldn't want to be absent because the you miss a lot. Very scrutinizing and judgemental.
