Dr. Roote is a very nice teacher. She is funny and clearly cares about how well her students perform, but she sometimes has trouble explaining topics and getting her point across.

She's the type of professor that you really have to go into her office hours if you want her to respect you. She'll smile and be friendly but taking Bio 2 with her was tough. The class was co-taught with Dr. Brown and the tests were hard. I reccomend doing all the homework. The one good thing is you can turn in homework late and she will accept it.

She really cares about her students and tries to make the concepts as easy as possible, but she is not always successful, because the concepts are not easy. You will have to study very hard for the exams, but she has a lot of graded assignments that boost your grade and get you through, which is really helpful and she is always willing to help you.

Carol is probably the nicest professor I have had so far at Naz! She's willing to help and is very fair and easy on grading! The tests follow the review sheets exactly and she made the class easy and interesting to take. Would definitely recommend her! She is not the best at explaining things but always tries her best and responds to emails fast!

Her Microbiology class is way better than her General Biology class. She is a nice woman but she can be difficult to learn from. Pay attention in class for the tests and do the work in the lab and you will do just fine.
