Poor thing, she's elderly and has trouble remembering what she was talking about during class or what she had asked of us previously. I took her class Spring '12 and had to drop out of fear of failing. English is usually very easy for me, she gave me a "D" on my first paper but couldn't explain to me why.

Me and five other people failed her class. She is horrible! I tried to find time to talk to her, but there was ALWAYS a line after class and she takes a least an hour to talk to each indivdual student. AVOID her at ALL costs. If that means you don' take the class, then don't take it!

Is unorganized and unclear on instruction. Half the class either dropped or failed because she never got around to accepting papers. She would take 30 mins on just 1 person while everyone else waited. She would have you redo papers with minor mistakes over and over again. I don't recommend this teacher to anyone.

Very unorganized! Doesnt read or grade ontime. Says one thing and does the other! Very old fashioned and if she hates the first page of a paper, she wont look at the other 4 pages! UNFAIR.

She is a tough grader on essays and waits 'til the latter part of the semester to begin passing people's essays. She contradicts herself quite frequently. She graded my quizzes easily and was impressed with my work ethic but I was one of the few. By the end between 15-20 people dropped the class. Many feared she would never pass them.Im still not

i understand what everyone is saying but i liked that class. she doesn't like discussion b/c it makes her feel like you're not getting wrk done but she's interesting & accepts papers emailed to her which is awesome. u do have to stay on her about reading your papers though.

First, she is not professional at all. She has a hot temper towards students who asked too many questions. She isn't there for teaching but just chichatting about everything. She doesn't seem to remember what she said in classs. STRONGLY RECONSIDER!!!

She is horrible. She rambles a lot about unrelated topics and does not know how to schedule. Everyone in the class was behind and a lot of people failed because she took weeks to accept papers that were fine. I did not learn anything in this class.

its hard to hear her and she does not seem to focus on people unless they are doing horrible in her class. her papers are clear iun material but not clear in the grade until the end... over all.... i did not enjoy my stay. if i found a better teacher i would jump on that but if i cant, i would stick to her b/c i know her style.

Talks too much and only spends time with the students who are doing really bad. Tells you to do one thing, then the next minute to do another. Seems like she forgets things easily. Lost a lot of papers and made it seem like it was the student's fault and not hers. Did not explain criteria well at all.
