Dr. Watson is really nice and if you go to her office hours you can tell she genuinely wants to help you. That being said, don't be fooled by the 100-level art class label because this is by far the hardest class I've taken at Furman. It's a lot of memorization of extremely specific things. While she has a good heart, I'd avoid taking her again.

Unless you must take her class AVOID at all costs! Dr. Watson is an incredibly tough grader; she will take off points for the most insignificant grammatical mistakes even though this is not English class . It would help if she was a little more organized and was better at guiding students through assignments.

This subject is CLEARLY NOT the professor's forte. There were too many inconsistencies with dates, sites, views, and overall material. It was extremely difficult to weed through unorganized material and deal with an unorganized professor. To date, this is the most frustrating and uninformative class I've ever taken.

This class was very difficult. Dr. Watson is tough as nails, but is also a really nice lady who enjoys teaching and will go out of her way to help you. I really enjoyed taking this class, but wouldn't reccomend it if you don't want to work extremely hard

She is an excellent professor! Has a passion for her work and for teaching. Class can be boring at times but for the most part it was really interesting. You will definately benefit from taking this class! I learned a lot! Make sure you do all the work and study a lot!! Don't take this class if you are a slacker..you won't do well!

She's certainly difficult but she teaches you to look at art in an entirely new manner. You need to stay on top of the work from the beginning (always study for slide quizzes) but I think it was worth it. She's tough on writing so take her a rough draft if you have the time. It makes a difference.

Dr. Watson is one of the hardest profs. at Furman. As long as you do ALL the work, you'll do pretty well in this class. DO NOT take her if you aren't willing to work really hard. That said, she is amazingly smart and cares a great deal about her students, which makes it impossible to not like her.

She is the sweetest lady in the world! Whole class is lecture and it sometimes gets a little boring, but she is so smart and you learn so much from her. Her tests are hard and so is the paper, but she is a great teacher, just expects a lot from you. She is one of the best profs I've had at Furman-

I think that she is great. She's busy, but still makes time for her students, she KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT and is a clear lecturer. I don't know what is wrong with professors who expect their students to work hard . . . it is your own fault if you fail this class.

Don't take with history 11. She's boring, slide quizzes easy, too much reading,lectures/reading are different than tests. Her tests are insane. 12 hours studying for her final and I don't think I passed it! She personally cares about you, but would just as soon fail a student! NEVER TAKE THIS CLASS!
