I loved this teacher, she is honest and fun. I got an A, with medium effort, I don't know what everyone else's problem is. This is college people, you can't fly through, otherwise everyone would do it and it wouldn't cost tens of thousands of dollars. She doesn't take any bull, which I respect. Just don't call her a chick and you'll do alright.

Carrie is an awesome English teacher. If you have a sense of humor, you’ll have a great time. Pay attention to details. And, DON’T miss frequent extra credit opportunities! If you do, don’t expect an A. Carrie will teach you good technical writing skills.

She kept the class interesting,and she's not as mean as she comes off at first.I would definitely recommend taking her class. The load was moderate, but she stresses that the work is done right. Easy grader, gives lots of bonus marks.

BEST Shakespeare teacher EVER! She makes it fun and is very open to what you have to say. She expects you to go to class, read the material and participate. If you can't manage that then you shouldn't be in college in the first place. She's quick too so don't think you can get anything by her cuz she WILL bust you and you WILL be screwed.

I had a death in my family and she took off 50 points for my attendence not being there. I now have to take shakespear over because I don't like to talk and that is a requirment for the snobs class. If you don't kiss her butt, good luck passing. She is a mean person. VERY COLD!!!!!

I don't know what class you were in (post from 9/2) but I was in her class last winter and I thought she was great. Very smart, knowledgeable, and alot of fun. She really knows her stuff. I would recommend anyone interested in learning about Shakespeare to take her class. Be prepared to work, but this is college.

Shakespeare would roll over in his grave if he knew this poor excuse for a woman was teaching his class. Shame on her. Before her, I used to love Shakespeare and now I can hardly stand it. Very heavy workload. Every minute that woman opened her mouth seemed like an eternity in the seventh realm of hell.

Carrie Narter is the worst "professor" I have ever had in my entire academic career. very unhelpful, strict, snobbish, and not interesting. Every single week there is a new play, a new quiz, and a paper due. Her grading is extremely unfair. Worst of all she is a very difficult teacher when she has no right to be because she's incompetant.

Instructor Nartker was one of the best instructors at WSU. I suspect the reason for the assumed snobbiness was so that students would not try to run over her. The workload was heavy, but she wanted us to get each type of work by WS. True, a lot of quizzes and papers, but more ample opportunity for a better grade. Great class!
