Comment:
Do not for the love of god take her class. I received a C and so did everyone else. Class was hybrid. 40% of your grade is a group project so if youre stuck w someone whose uncooperative like I was good luck! Also, she does NOT help or care for her students, its clear. By far the worst professor Ive ever taken at state. Such a bad experience!

She is positive, cheerful, kind, and really helpful. Even though I am an international student, her accent didn't bother me that much. Its not that hard to understand. I got an F from her but that was totally on me. You just need to be an average student to get a B. Attend to her lectures, study for the exams and DO YOUR HOMEWORK. You're good to go

She is a very nice woman I'll give her that, but when it come to what matters she is a bad professor. I ended up getting a 69% and she still woudn't round up my grade, ultimately forcing me to stay another semester at SDSU for ONE class. Homework is a huge 35% of your grade and it's extremely difficult. honestly just stay away. I HAD a 3.5 mind you

It's really not that bad of a class. She teaches everything you really need to know for tests so you don't really need to read. Do the online practice problems before the homework. Uses clickers last couple minutes of class and give some room to miss class or homework.

Her study guides were almost identical to the exams. Numbers may be different but concepts the same. If you did them and the book questions, I don't think you could have a problem.

STAY AWAY!!! The worst professor I took this semester! You can't understand her, and she doesn't explain the material well. Micro is hard to begin with and she didn't make it any easier. You basically have to teach yourself and do lots of reading. Clickers required. Don't take her unless you absolutely have too.

She is very nice and loves her job, but hard to understand because she has a strong accent. There is online homework every week and clicker questions the last 15 min of every class.

I would avoid taking this professor. She is a nice person and very understanding but her teaching style needs work. I learned from the work I did by reading the chapter and doing my own notes but I wasn't able to pass the exams. Homework, three midterms, one final, and clicker questions. I worked really hard and failed.

Her accent makes it impossible to pay attention. Exams feel like you are asked to multiply all knowledge you got from that class times 10, super hard. Says "okay" after every single sentence which is extremely unprofessional and annoying.

REALLY thick spanish accent so quite hard to understand. Would recommend sitting near the front if you want to do well. Clicker points will help you pass the class because tests are kinda hard but she curves it so it's easier. weekly quizz which is about an hour of work if you want to do well, this also brings your grade up a lot!!!

Econ 380 -- The book is a must! The multi choice questions on the books web site, are like the quiz questions. The questions at the end of each CH are like the written tests. Focus on the book questions that she covers, as they are they ones most likely on the test. I would take this Professor again.

I took her because people said it was easy to get an A in her class. IT IS NOT. Hard midterms and homework. Clicker question in almost every class. Try to take another Econ 101 professor.

This class is impossible to get an A in. Tests are really hard. 3 midterms, and optional final. Her accent is REALLY difficult to understand. Aplia homework is assigned weekly due sunday, and its also difficult. Don't take this class if you don't have to.

The main thing about this professor is that she has an extremely thick Spanish accent that makes understanding her very difficult, and goes through the lecture slides way too fast. I ended up using the book and (generous) study guides she provides to basically teach myself. Tests are multiple choice & curved and final is optional. I got a C+.

3 midterms and 1 optional final that are curved and each worth 20%. Aplia assignment is worth 35% and make sure to do it with a friend. Be sure to go to class everyday for the 5% iclicker points. Overall, class is easy if you study a lot.

This class is a translation, transcribing, and econ class all in one. Her accent makes it really hard to understand, attendance is mandatory because of clicker points, and she goes extremely quick. It was difficult to understand at the pace she taught at, but if you attend class, take notes, and do the homework, it's doable.
