Tends to be tangential, turning a 30-second concept into a 15-minute ramble, drawing focus away from key information with personal tales. Not too clear on what she wants on quizzes, either. Frankly, I learned this course from the TA, as QC Christopher's lectures were so disorganized.

Just terrible. She doesnt teach anything in class besides her favorite movies with Julia Roberts. I learnt from the text book which wasnt fun at all. AND the take home final was ridiculous! Avoid at all costs!

Really great prof who teaches because she wants to. Marks fairly (does it all herself which is nice cause the TA was dumb). Occassionally funny, lots of stories and anecdotes to make things clearer. Always available for questions.

Catherine is an awesome prof. The movies were boring, but she's not showing them anymore so it doesn't make a difference. She really knows the course material, and has a lot of fun teaching it. Her stories can be a little off track sometimes but usually do have a point. She id definitely one of the best profs I've ever had.

Very dry. Her sense of humor is also dry but funny. The videos were horrible and I could have just stayed at home and slept. Class would end early due to her career as a lawyer, which was a nice end to the misery. Overall, my money should be refunded for the time wasted on the movies and the time each class was cut short.

She is the funniest person ever! Only prof i've had that makes really dull topics interesting, and really serious matters laughable. Her enthusiasm for her career is obvious, and you know she doesn't HAVE to be teaching, she wants too. Recommended for smart people w/ sense of humour&law interests
