Brilliant. She brought enthusiasm to a subject that most students felt was just a hurdle to get over in first year. Approachable outside of class and deeply insightful on the underlying issues. Sadly, there wasn't a lot of time in class to delve too deeply into these matters, not really her fault though.

This class was increible. Prof. Dauvergne is one of the best profs i've ever had -- interesting, challenging and very nice. She is original in her thinking and engaging in her teaching style. I highly recommend anything she teaches.

She is intelligent and clear. Doesn't suffer fools gladly. Her classes are what they should be- an intellectual exercise. She is headstrong so contradict her after you've thought through your opinion. She handles class participation well, spreading the airtime.

Was not looking forward to the class, and the theoretical reading was painful, but the cases were very interesting. Unfortunately the discussions were frustrating, but that's more to do with some students in the class. Flexible in type of evaluation. Understand the theory and the essay will go fine. I may take her again for Immigration.

She is an expert at this subject. Very knowledgeable and has one of the best teaching styles in law. Organized class so that we really learn (not just all lectures, optional essays/exam, readily answers questions, approachable). One of the best classes ive taken thanks to the prof.

She rocks. Super-knowledgeable, kind of goofy, and fun. Writes fair exams (and I don't even have my mark yet ;>). If you're not into social science content, i.e. "policy", this class may not be for you.

A brilliant professor and compassionate person. Those who complain about comprehensibility will never, ever, get it anyways. Very funny, makes good jokes when she knows attention spans are faltering.
