She is an excellent teacher, who requires you to improve your writing. If you love writing and want to be better, her class is for you. She is very critical of errors and she has a list of pet peeves, you must follow. As long as you are detailed in your writing, follow correct grammar rules, you should have no problem passing this class.

I took Professor Lally's Class Spring of 2011. She is an exellent teacher. She gives detailed instructions and easy to follow examples on how to complete assignments. If you are serious about your career and want to learn to write in a professional manner, this is the class for you. I was challenged,rewarded and inspired by Professor Lally.

Mrs. Lally is a harsh grader but very fair. She shows you the potential you have in yourself in order to increase your writing potential. She is extremely helpful and willing to meet and talk with you to solve any issue or help you in any way. P.S. She has a list of pet pieves that you must stay away from or lose points on your work..

Very awesome teacher! Pushes you to do your very best. Grades very hard, but you get use to it. If you need help with anything she will try to help the best she can. Likes to get the class involved and hear different opinions. I would totally recommend her to anyone that actually wants to learn.

extremely rewarding class to take. she doesnt give you subjects to write on instead lets you pick whatever floats your boat to write about. not very many tests at all, you will learn how to write a great paper by writing lots of them. do things she says will count for extra credit, you will probably need it. if i had to take com 2,i would take her.

she is nice- yes- but all the work isnt sooo easy. She does have most easy work- but those essays are no joke- work hard on them- with a lot of work- and bring both books to class everyday and you will do fine.

Very good teacher.She is sweet and enthusiastic, so I want to come to class. The assignments are interesting, and she always makes sure everyone understands the directions.She is a very effective teacher who makes comments to help students improve. I would recommend her to all my friends.

Definitely not an "easy" teacher. The only reason I got an A in the class was because I did the 5% extra credit she offered. Make sure you do your reading.. this IS the whole point of the class, after all. Work hard on your essays and don't turn in anything less than your best or you most likely won't be able to make an A.

Lally is a very interesting teacher. She is very insightful and her projects are not typical. In the short story unit when there is a story to be read for homework, read it because she gives pop quizzes.
