I took professor Zizik's presentation/public speaking class in the summer. I tried to be nice and work hard in the class. However, it seemed like she was singling me out in the class and would purposely embarrass me in front of the class. If she does not like you, she will give you a bad grade because that is what happened to me.

Comment:

This class changed my life, I am not kidding. It was awesome. Be careful of pop quizzes, they say that there may be a quiz and take that as there will be a quiz. But they are easy, so look over the notes. Literally Zizik is the best. Zakhem was also a prof in the course and he was super good too but she made it much more relatable.

Best prof I had in the program! Great feedback and she tailors projects for our professions. Many readings but the discussions were the best for my leanring. I also improved my writing skills tremendousy under her keen critical eye. I would take another class with her in a heartbeat !I did get an A but it was the hardest A of my life.

Good class to take over the summer. Be aware that if you don't follow the rubric for whatever speech you are doing, she will shred you on the review. You have to do the speech exactly as she wants. Good class and not a bad professor. She is very respectful and the class discussions were great.

Decent class, always busy and doing something new each class which was annoying. I thought Senior Sem would be easy, no! If you want to do well, make appointments for extra help. Basically, she taught me how to write in a way I never thought I could, but it was tough. I am glad it was on line too. Don't assume it is easier though.

If you take this class, dont blow it off. If you show you care about it, she will help you and cut you a break if you need it. Zizik is really funny and will teach like a course should be taught with lots of examples and chances to do well with extra credit. Juts take risks and be creative and thoughtful. After two weeks I really liked it.

funny, tough and wants to help you if you ask. She is quick and always starts on time. She starts off really serious and then once you have proven yourself, she gets much more down to earth. I had a problem and she helped me out. I was grateful, but I should have told her that. Prof. Z, if you read these, stay at shu, you make us matter.

Best summer course ever! Prof Z made this class interesting even though it was at 8am. We had breakfast discussions, frantic argument Fridays and wacky Wednesday rant. I made friends in that class that I still keep in touch with. You gotta take it if you can fit it in.

I liked the class. She is a strict teacher for attendance but I understand why. There are many presentations and feedback sessions. I hate public speaking but had to take the class and I did well because we could chose our own subjects. I started to feel comforatble after the first speech beacause of how it was set up.

She is all business at the start to weed out the slackers. This class is worth the effort and you do earn your grade, but she is awesome, funny and relevant! You will do many business speeches related to current events and other creative & virtual speeches. Each one is different and interesting. I didn't like my group speech but still did well.

This class is the real world. It gives you what you need rather than a bunch of useless speeches. We did a virtual speech, impromtu, and the speech for a hostile crowd was a blast. The class was fun and even odd at times, it pushed me and I came in as a pretty decent speaker. Z is an awesome speaker and she practices what she teaches.

Easy if you want to speak alot in class; hard if you want to avoid speaking. She really makes everyone get involved and speak. Ther eare many activities and I got to know everyone in that class. We laughed and learned from one another too. Prof. Z has a gift for teaching and motivating us. I actually miss that class. It was one of the best!
