Overall I enjoyed this class. Very nice professor. BUT because it is online only I struggled with some of the assignment directions. She was helpful, but I would rather take this kind of course in person. Assignments are fun and spread out which made things easy.

I feel like someone who teaches copywriting should write clear assignment descriptions. The course website is a complete mess of different text sizes, and her assignment descriptions are not organized thoughts- they're all over the place. Hard to figure out what you're supposed to be doing...

Baldwin is awsome!!!she really wants to answer questions and help you better your work. She gives 6 ceating ad assignments; you devlop the art and copywriting. Are final was putting all the ads in a portfolio and emailing it to her-so that wasn't so diffucult. has a lot of background exp.so she DOES know what she is talking about.she is so laidback

She doesn't know what she is talking about half the time. She mumbles a lot and what would take 15 min. to explain, she takes the whole class period. I wouldn't recommend her unless you want a class that teaches you almost nothing about the real industry.. or if you have to as a requirement.

The assignments are pretty fun, but I don't agree with her requirements (exactly 250 words of body copy for a post it ad? come on....). She has an annoying voice, mumbles a lot, and can be sarcastic. Sometimes I felt her teaching was belittling, as if she thought we were idiots. I guess she's not the worst, though...

I thought she was very nice...the class isn't hard as much as it is time consuming. But it's a nice break to do homework that involves drawing instead of reading and studying... no tests, so thats a plus! I plan to take her again for other classes...

This class requires long hours of drawing and drawing. If you don't draw or trace pics well...you're sol. The class is slow paced and you feel like you're treated like a little kid in kindergarten. You'll be bored out of your mind. She is not approachable mostly because she is allergic to you and everything else. You can't wear any perfumes/scents.

Prof Baldwin's layout class was a positive experience. There were no exams, just in-class exercises and projects. She's a low-talker at times, so listen carefully. The workload is heavy at times but mild overall.

Had her for Layout & Production as well as Copywriting. Thought she was awesome. Her voice gets to some people, but her experience is amazing and if you get to know her in class, she is quite funny. The only one of my professors who gave me a hug when I walked across stage to graduate.

she's a nice lady who knows a lot about adv but sometimes her sarcasm is annoying. she's happy to help and answer questions. she's very picky about the work you turn in (not the easiest grader). there's a lot of work for this class but it's easy (just very time consuming). be prepared to draw a lot.

Very nice lady, class is simple. If you complete the assignments on time & show effort in your work you will get a B. Her voice is kinda annoying but the lectures aren't that bad.I learned a lot from both her ADV. 124 and 125 classes. Shes cool overall and easy to talk to if you have any questions.

I didn't learn a single thing the entire semester! Her voice was so annoing highpitched and raspy at the same time, I couldn't stand going to her boring lectures. Maybe she is better for Adv125, but for mcom 70 you could take a better prof. Her class is a very easy B.

Very easy class. Very nice professor, but she's allergic to everything, so no perfume or cologne! Lectures can be boring, and her voice is a bit high nasely because of allergies, but an overall good class.
