love, love, LOVE Chantal! She totally rocked my world twice and YOU NEED TO TAKE HER. usually students either end up hating her or wanting to be the president of her fanclub, but it is imperitive to your education that you give it a go, either way. Do the readings, she's always heavy on theory...if you want to learn you will--big time.

Very difficult class: the readings are dull and seem useless until you have a paper to write and realize that she actually knows what she is doing (unlike most profs)and doesn't accept the usual student bull****ing. She will make you use your brain. Very helpful, understanding, and interesting prof.

What an amazing teacher. Chantal was genuinely nice to everyone in the class, however I thought the class itself was pretty damn boring. The readings were dull... worse than pulling teeth. So yeah, great teacher, terrible class.
