Believe anything negative that anyone is saying. For those of you that have anything positive to say simply leaves me in stunned amazement! It only took me three lectures before I filed a formal complaint with the Dean's office. There are not enough negative adjectives available in our galaxy to describe her. Head for the hills!!!!

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. This is the absolute worst professor I've ever had. Thinks every comment or opinion is a direct attack on her! She usually shows up late to the lecture, she's rude to students and is not approachable for any help. STAY AWAY!

She's easy, but can be rude when you ask her for something. I had to miss class for an appointment and she wouldn't let me sign up for a paper topic or e-mail her my topic. I had to figure something else out, but she would say no to every solution I came up with. Stay the hell away!

This is a good class, the book is one of the best text books, very easy to read. She is very easy to get along with as long as you show up to class, participate, and are able to read ppl well, she can be easily frustrated and thats when you do not want to talk or make sure you take her side. She is an extremely fair marker, tests are easy.

A fine teacher, I liked her class and found her to be quite enjoyable.Be friendly and she will reciprocate.She is somewhat reluctant to answer student questions, however, that is not enough to be fearful of her and her class.If you read the text, participate now and again, you WILL do well.Tests are extremely, I repeat, extremely fair; just study!

She is the worst teacher I have ever had! She degrades students who are having difficulties and humiliates them in class. At the final exam she kicked everyone out that did not have a validation sticker on their student card, and then went on to verbally abuse the head of registrar when he tried to talk her into letting them finish the exam! crazy!

Shes crazy, she made everyone throw out their coffee one morning because she said it is regulation that no hot bevrages be in class during tests because the teacher could knock it down and burn someone. I think she memorized the manual because she seems to know everything about it.

def a bad experience in her class.since i have the opportunity to rate her, i would not recommend her in any class. her personality and teaching ethic seems to conflict with everyones. to put it nicely it was a nightmare- i would hope her position at the u of w is dealt with sooner than later. she is giving the U a bad name for Soc profs.

ridiculous prof. If you can avoid her, do it. She answers your questions with questions. She doesn't know ANYTHING about sociology or anthropology and has no idea how to lecture. She rants and takes everything you say personally and out of context.

She kicked out over 10 students at her final exam and wouldn't let them back in to write it cuz they didnt have the sticker on their card. Pointed and yelled at officials at the University... horrible prof, should not be teaching. Very true about the question asking thing, she asks you "what do you think" - FYI avoid any courses with her

She is probably one of the worst people I have met, not even a professor. She asks the class what they want her to teach, and looses her mind when they suggest things, she puts words in your mouth, ridicules students and sees any comment as a challenge to her teaching and her power as a professor. this is the worst class i have ever taken, she is crazy...and i mean crazy, she rambles like a fool with no point all the time. She is rude and confrentational for no reason and has crazy mood swings. She also is lazy and spends no time preparing lectures...she will stand in front of the class and be silent for long periods of time.
