Comment:

She is the sweetest woman, but having a lecture with her for three hours until 9 at night can be hard. Her voice is so soft and soothing that I almost fall asleep every class. It's gotten to the point where I don't pay attention in class and teach myself from the textbook. However, I do recommend her because she is very fair with grading and helps.

This professor is such a sweet elder woman. With that said, she cannot effectively lecture the coarse material because she often goes off tangent and gets lost in her own words. Therefore, the textbook is the holy grail if you want to pass. Her exam questions s are totally random and reflect the textbook more than her lectures.

Nice woman, terrible professor. Her voice is like a sedative, that is, when she isn't hand-holding a clip-on microphone and subsequently beat-boxing through a power point. verbatim. after making the class read an article one-by-one like we did in grade school. Not like it matters though, shes the only micro lecture professor. good luck.

- Do not listen to bad reviews. Put in the time get the grade. Specifically for Bio 101 Lab you will do many experiments with her which are easy. There are two lab reports which take 15 hours to perfect and get an A (2-3 Weeks to complete no excuse). Her tests are the only hard part as it's based off of the reading in the lab book. Great Prof.

Cutest lady ever. So easy to get by with with attendance and all of that. She's not hard in class, but she is a rough grader. Shes a great person, not a great teacher though...but youll survive, i promise. her class is not hard at all. Just note the pages in the text book that she speaks about.

She was my lab professor and she was very thorough. Lectured alot in lab but she has a passion for her work. She gives fair exams and is an extremely nice person. She is even my advisor. Take her if you can because she is always willing to help. Just take notes in her class and do the work.

Dr. Hoegler is a nice lady but a horrible professor!! Her exams are not hard but she will NOT (for the life of her) tell you what will be on her exams. She says she is not out to get you but she ALWAYS throws in chapters that she did not teach yet or did not mention would be on the exam and she almost NEVER actually puts on what she says she would.

This professor is very very nice and sweet, but you learn absolutely nothing in her classes. She teaches material that has nothing to do with the subject and then gives hard tests that has nothing to do with what she teaches in class. DO NOT TAKE HER!

Hoegler is a very nice lady, dont get me wrong. However, she is the absolute worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. She will speak so low, but it doesnt matter because what she's saying is pointless and has nothing to do with what you should be learning. her notes are useless and her tests are on things she never talked about.

Very nice/sweet woman... but HORRIBLE professor. She doesn't speak in complete thoughts, bounces around and doesn't have set notes she goes by. She doesn't explain things and the only way to survive is to study the textbook. She also gets very frustrated when student's dont' understand things and acts shocked when students get lost. awful.

She is sooo sweet. I loved her! She was very helpful and we did NOTHING let me repeat NOTHING in class. All we had was public speakers. Other uni 101s had homework and presentations. We jsut simply sat there and listened to people talk. She was great!

AVOID THIS CLASS!!!! She is a nice lady but bad professor. She talks way to low that even if you sit in the front seat you still cant hear her. for a 102 class, she spoke to use like we were rocket scientists. she is a nice lady, but personally i felt that if u asked a question that she felt was "easy" she looked at you like you were stupid. the whole lab class had to retake her tests because she often asks very specfic questions about things that we didnt focus on. avoid if possible
