He does assign reading assignments on occasion, and his tests are tricky (if you don't study), BUT he was by far my favorite professor this semester. He is passionate about his material and is easy to listen to. His slides and lectures are clear cut and very easy to take notes from.

His class wasn't too bad. This is the only class I got an A in this semester! You just have to do all the assignments and keep up with the lectures. A lot of powerpoints but he posts them all for you to review. The book is optional. Quizzes are a good chance to increase your grade. Overall, nice guy & loves insects !

Bartlett is my favorite professor at UD. His class is fun and interesting, and he seems to know everything there is to know about arthropods. He's adorable and cares about his students and work so much. If you don't come to class, though, you will miss a lot and you won't get an A. TAKE HIS CLASS! Bartlett is THE BEST!

The course is unreasonably tough. He is so much demanding! If you are looking for Breath D, never take it. Two exams, always have to be prepared for random quiz, and annoying assignments including rearing butterfly and group video producing. They are wasting of time if not Entomology major. His lecture is pretty boring as well.

Very challenging class, but it's a 400 level tax class so it's expected. Bartlett really wants you to learn the material and is extremely helpful. He's not one of those teachers who make you feel stupid if you ask a question, and he'll joke with you, "I don't get how students see a horse, I just see tons of spurious veins."

Dr. Bartlett really knows his stuff and wants everyone in the class to learn it. His tests are very straightforward, he offers lots of reviews before the exams, he gives you a study guide, and an opportunity for A LOT of extra credit. Lecture is not mandatory, but I suggest you go. Pay attention in lab, that is the key!
