he's a great teacher i just had to learn the hard way that he requires you to read a lot! very good teacher though! very reasonable to work around the student's schedule if missed class once in awhile.

This professor is a GPA buster. Do not take. His attitude and envolvement have lead to numerous students dropping or failing. He is not engauged and has horrible people skills. Do not take! Emails are responded to in a manner that suggests he feels that he is better than his students. He comes off as an over educated teacher that looks down on the ignorant students.

Intelligent professor. Clear teaching and doesn't make careless mistakes. Not only available outside class but truly ENJOYS helping his students. That said, this is NOT an easy course. The problem is too much course content. It is impossible to cram in that much material in 1 semester and be expected to absorb it all unless this is your only class.

His lecture is good,clear and organized. Yet his test are harder than homework and quizzes. So it is hard to get a good grade. But if you can commit an hour everyday to work on the problem, then you can get A. He scared off 1/3 of the class to drop before the due date.LOL~

I am an A+ student however summer (5wk) online was not an easy A. This prof. does care however I believe he does not tolerate stupidity (could be confused for not caring)-you need to prove you are putting in! Course work not too bad, tests are tough but final was easy. He curved all tests, dropped lowest 2 labs & lowest 3 h/works.

Tough class. But Dr. Johnson is willing to help in anyway. I took his online trig class and he was always available for questions...would respond to my emails very quickly. I would recommend Dr. Johnson. Of course like any other class you have to put time and effort into it.

This professor is awful. He lacks communication skills, constantly makes errors while teaching, and does not adequately prepare you for the tests. He also assigned problems through WileyPlus, and although he knew the program was severely flawed, he continued to use it!! In addition, he was very rude to his students when they had a question/complain

I'm an A student and good at math however his class is HARD. The book isnt needed b/c you can access it online. His tests are multiple choice but are impossible. His lectures are fast paced and irrelevant compared to the information on his tests. I went to the Math Lab for help and some professors there couldnt understand the problems he assigned

I took him for trig a few semesters back. He teaches the course rather well, but the tests are very hard.I made an A, but I pretty much neglected every other class I had. If you're looking for an easy A, you will not find it here.

I had this professor for stats web course. Hated, hated this instructor. He gave tests not from our hundreds of homework assignments. In 4 weeks we had 10 quizes, maybe 300 homework problems 4 exams and a compr. final. There is no review for tests or final. If you have to take this guy spend all your time in the math lab and get an answers book.

Typical TRIG class, lots of homework for very little grade, but it pays off with test scores. I made B's on everything missed few classes, received a tough final got a "C" my grade was a 79...lecture is helpful for calc.

Such a bad experience with this professor. He is only available 1 HOUR A WEEK for consult with students in his online class. The tests are horrible and have to take hours to complete them. Don't take his class unless you feel you can do it all on your own and want a challenge!

Online statistics class: communication with this guy in the beginning seems organized until you have a math problem you cannot solve, and he just stone walled me 2 times on the same problem. I dropped the class and lost all my money. Reapplied again this Spring 2007 with another professor.
