One of the best professors I've ever had. You learn a lot and he is very knowledgable in what he teaches. It is a lot of work, but it's not hard work. You can easily get a good grade in this class if you work hard and pay attention. He makes it achievable to do well if you put in the effort.

Charles is an amazing teacher! He is strict at times, but clear with his expectations. He is also changing his class format for next semester by doing group exams and also allows you a sheet of notes for every chapter test. He is strict at times but very approachable. His expectations are clear and makes the content easy to understand, easy A!

Charles is very strict, in that he runs his class like a business. If you want to do well you have to show up and do all the homework. However, if you put the work in, you can absolutely get an A. If you do have questions, he is always willing to help during office hours. He brings industry experience in and relates it to what we are learning.

I took Mr. Charles for ACC111 and ACC112 online; would take him again without hesitation. The classes are straight forward/no frills type work. If you already know the finance lexicon than these classes are cake. If you don't, you'll still be fine but like anything, you'll have to put some work in. If you want your hand held, good luck in college.

Took the online class. The assignments aren't hard, but there is a somewhat heavy workload, so manage your time. Quizzes are 20 multiple choice questions and usually pretty easy. If you have HW questions, he emails back quickly and is helpful. Make sure the class is synced up through Learnsmart properly so you get credit for the assignments.

Charles was by far my favorite professor here at MCC. His class was tough at times and he runs his classroom like a business and won't put up with excuses, but I definitely learned the most from his class! He wants all of his students to succeed and ties his real life experiences to the stuff he teaches us which is amazing. DONT TAKE ONLINE!

DO NOT TAKE HIS ONLINE CLASS. Charles runs his class like a business, is very upfront about what is expected (near perfect attendance, no late work, no phones) but also wants everyone to succeed. As long as you keep up on the homework and study for the pop quizzes, you can easily pass this class. If you are struggling there are tutors available.

There's two parts to the grade. Every week there is a canvas assignment due, as well as a Pearson assignment and a quiz due. There is no making up an assignment but he's clear on feedback and what he expects. Straight forward class.

Charles is a great guy, he is the go to professor at MCC for accounting. I took him for ACC111,112, and 212. I got an A in all three classes and he was my favorite professor I had, at my two years at MCC. His rules and grading are crystal-clear, so if you put in the effort he asks you will be successful in his class.

I took Charles online class and man I barely got that A, Its rough, you have to put in the effort and then some. However he does have office hours which is really nice, just be sure to do the work. Don't miss a single assignment and you should be good.

Charles runs his class like a business. He went over the syllabus one time at the beginning of the semester and never reminded anyone about homework, quizzes or tests after that. If you use your cell phone in class he will make a point to stop what he is doing to embarrass you. He uses the words percent and point as if they meant the same thing.

Ok I'm a little bitter because I was a victim of technical difficulties for a big assignment. It changed my entire letter grade in a matter of minutes because loading took longer than the submission deadline. I thought he would be kind and helpful but he threw me in the dirt to let my grade suffer. Oh well. Good class though to take.

I'll start with the positive, he lets you use a sheet of notes for every test, which helps a lot. Now the negative, he yells A LOT. If you have your phone out he won't only yell at you, he'll come to your desk and continue to make a scene. I also truly don't believe he cares about the success of his students. I would not recommend you take him.

1 quiz and 1 homework every 2 weeks. They take a great portion of your grade and also help you with the tests. Prepare an A4 piece of paper for the test and you'll do fine. Easy A with not too much work. Class is kind of boring though.

Most of his tests are almost exactly the same as the group project that is done in the class before, he lets you use a cheat sheet on every test, I never studied once and I got an A in all three accounting classes with ease (I'm an average B student). Definitely take this professor! Super helpful and makes accounting interesting!

I am posting this before I get my grade, so I am not influenced in this post by the grade. Charles is a businessman. If you are taking his class to go into business, you got the right idea. He will not ask you if you need help, and assume that you got it, unless you step up and ask for help yourself. I would recommend this class, if you can.

Charles knows about business, there's no denying that. He lacks, however, the ability to clearly teach. You are graded on a 10% Evaluation by Instructor, which he reserves for absences and if you take your phone out during lecture. His lectures are long and boring, but somewhat related to the topics. He's the only ACC111-212 professor at MCC.

I absolutely adore Charles! He sticks to the book-literally and figuratively-and gives you everything you need to know for the tests. He tells you what he expects at the very beginning of the semester and won't compromise. He was very helpful and will meet with you during office hours. For the tests, he lets you fill an entire 8X11 paper with notes
