This summer/online class is a lot of work! You have to read 4 chapters a week along with 4 of his slideshows that are usually 60-100 pages long. You also have to take 4 of the books tests along with his test every week (about 60 questions). His tests are difficult! I felt over loaded with work and could not read everything within the time frame.

Comment:

Dr. Miron is a very intelligent man. Very helpful and will help you with any questions you need answered. Human Sexuality (PSYC 221) is a dual-taught class and I have never had a class taught this way. I LOVED IT! Rather informative and FUN. You leave feeling like you know everything he and Mrs. Miron know and they are SMART!!!!

This professor must think everyone is going to be a psychologist due to the way he teaches. He has to many chapters per exam, and his exams are not based on most of the study guide pretests.He has Power Points with around 80 slides. How can anyone remember all that material! This guy needs to make his courses student friendly.

Dr. Miron is a very nice man over the phone i had his online class for Fall 2010. If you take this course pls make it your world. You can't take this class with a math or science class because his class req'd that much attention. His class goes by a point system so get all the points you can.

THIS MAN TALKS ABOUT SEX ALOT.The tests are hard. He gives powerpoint presentations that are accesable online, which is basically the material you will be tested on. IF you study the power point presentations thoroughly you will do well. But, it's hard to study the powerpoints when there are 80 slides per chapter with 4 chapters on a test. STUDY!

I had no idea what i was getting into with this guy. Hes funny. Only problem is he goes on tangets for up to 30 minutes of stuff not related to class. I wouldn't recomend taking this as a 3 hour class, way to much stuff to go over if he goes on a tangent. Tests really arent that hard, he makes power points online and those help alot. Read and study

I did not like this class! I thought he was very unclear and gave good examples in class of the topics being discussed but then used totally different ones on the tests. His tests were so hard... when you thought you did well you failed. The INTASC paper is impossible!!!! He got off topic A LOT! I did find it interesting but I did not learn much :(

He was a very good teacher but goes over subjects very quickly without review so you are definitely expected to read everything. The test and papers aren't that hard though, as long as you take some time and review everything he is going over, you should do fine. He tries to add a little humor in everything so you stay interested and attentive. I enjoyed his class.

Miron's class is stimulating, enlightening, challenging. He raises the bar at CCBC, which I think is great. If you want an "A" handed to you look elsewhere, with Miron you must earn it.
