Oberly is the man. He takes all his test information from the text and the assigned readings. Had him for CRJU 320 Intro to Criminal Law. HE knows what he is talking about and has AWESOME stories. His TA was also very helpful. I recommend any of his classes.

Comment:

This course is excellent. I don't normally like night classes, but this class was so interesting, I would take it again. Mr. Oberly is a very engaging lecturer and his exams are fair. I regret missing the opportunity to take his criminal law class.

Oberly is the man. ITs not every day that you can sit and listen to a former AG talk to you. He brings in awesome outside speakers. Tests not hard just do the readings and answers will be SO obvious! Req. read to novels, but they are not long, very cool stories. Extra Credit Avail. The guy you want to talk to if you need a contact in Law of gov.

just take another class. Oberly knows what he's talking about but you wouldn't know it from his exams. They are very vague and he takes random lines from the text book and makes them his questions. 2 exams and thats it. read the books and good luck...don't be surprised if you get a C and you've been to every class.

This guy is cool. Really approachable for a former Attorney General and probably someone who makes in the mid six figures or seven figures. Great guest speakers. I'm not going to lie but the tests are tough; however he will not let you fail this class. If you can't come out of there with at C, you don't belong in college. His stories are great!

Cool guy, but class is really hard. I felt like i was in law school. Only 2 exams so make sure you go to EVERY class and read both books. TA's were helpful with study sessions, but you can't get a hold of him ever.

Fair and straightforward. Only 2 tests, and they are difficult if you don't know your stuff. READ THE BOOKS. When he says the books will be on the test HE ISN'T KIDDING. And sit up front, since he's hard to hear sometimes. Good class though.

Great guy. Mumbles and talks fast so sit upfront. Runs the class like a law school class. Two tests are somewhat tough, but read and go to class, and you will be fine. Assigns two interesting books and offers an extra credit book. Wants you to pass!
