Was doing really well in the course. He gave great feedback on my work and one of my plays was one of three actually chosen for a reading with actors at The Belfry Theatre. So exciting. Then when I didn't return his "advances", my work suddenly became deficient and sub-par. Forever tainted my belief in Creative Writing programs.

Takes himself too seriously as a dramaturge; little to no interest in helping students develop their own voices. Students who took his suggestions were marked high while those who disagreed were marked low - wrote the worst play of my life for his class and got an A.

he's the best out of jackson, hesketh and tidler but that isn't say much. boring, useless lectures. i was glad that he discouraged the flowery, emotional crap his two cohorts tried to push on us. i saw one of his plays, i think it was called tortoise boy. what a stinker.

the first year sucks praise Lorna for her toughness (read picking favourites) but hate Charles, what gives? The guy is very approachable and a nice guy. His style is clear and he marks according to the guidlines without picking FAVOURITES.
