Comment:

I found him to be a wonderful teacher. He answered all questions I had, and is very clear. His homework prepared me for each class. He gave lecture/lab exam topic hints. However, be on time and (really) attend every lab. He wants his students to do well, rewarding those who try their best, and is disappointed by those who don't. Winter 2018

Charles was extremely rude. He came in grumpy everyday and would throw papers back at student if he didn't deem them worthy. He seems like a very smart guy; unfortunately it doesn't make him a good teacher. You better hope he likes you or you will be in for a rough semester. He will yell at you if you are late on the first day. 7 week semester

Comment:

If you are a student planning on getting a Biology degree, Molnar's class is a must. It was was by far way more intense than I had expected; however, it has prepared me for upcoming bio classes. At the time, it felt a little too thorough but now I am thankful for all of the intensity as I am currently in another bio class and ahead of the game!

Charlie was a great teacher, he really knows what he is talking about. I saw him as quite the character. If you come into class late prepare yourself to get called out or some kind of pasive agressive acknowledgement. He is very passionate about biology and cares for his stuents. He givesexam hints and is very vocal about what will be on the exams.

Charlie is a nice guy... but terrible Prof. His teaching style is horrible. His lectures are uninteresting and his expectations are unclear . Powerpoints are unorganized, and there is NO structure to anything in his class. He assigns lots of HW and labs with short deadlines (usually due next class). Prepare to stay the full 3 hours for labs.

Charles is a really passionate teacher, and provides you plenty of opportunities to succeed and for extra credit. He has no tolerance for people who don't show up or mess around, but honestly, fair enough. Excellent teacher with a passion for biology -- just make sure you don't show up late or risk getting called out for it!

Charlie wants nothing but to set you up for success. He gives exam tips and gives you homework almost every single week, which helps keep your grade up. Sometimes he requires very specific answers on his homework and exams, so know your stuff.

Charles is a terrible teacher. If you're not on his good side, you fail. If you aren't good at biology, he will put you down any way possible. He marks you down even if you're right on an assignment so you have to stay on top of it. He will fight you on a right answer even if he just went over the assignment and said it was right. AVOID HIS CLASS.

Charlie was an ok teacher with a good sense of humour. He gives a lot of homework/writing assignments so if you have a large course load you will need to manage your time well. I found his tests did cover what he said will be on them but there were a few surprises on each one, and he likes specific details.

Charlie is a very intelligent person with a good sense of humor. The course is difficult and there is a ton of material that has to be covered, but Charlie discusses what will show up on each test in clear detail. Overall I really enjoyed genetics with Charlie and would recommend him to future biology students. He can occasionally be moody.

Charlie was a great teacher for Genetics! He explains everything abundantly clear and fills in any missing gaps from first year topics students may not fully understand. Made the class very interesting with articles he would show in class, did assign quite a bit of homework, but it helped to do it for the tests. Gives test hints, great prof overall

Wonderful teacher. Made the subject matter interesting and easy to follow. Notes were incredibly helpful, though hardly used the text at all. Assignments and exams were easy if you showed up for class, many useful hints for mid-terms and final exam.

Charles was neither bad nor good. While it doesn't appear in your grades, he does play favorites. Would answer any question i had, while either ignoring or scoffing at my lab partner's. He has a fairly good sense of humor though which is helpful in the dry spots, but has a monotone that makes it difficult to get engaged to his lectures at times.

Charlie is awesome. He's a great teacher with great notes and is very generous with bonus marks. He can be a bit moody which isn't so much a bad thing as quite funny. I thoroughly enjoyed his class and won't hesitate to take another one with him in the future :)He has the cutest giggle too, lol :)
