I loved this course! I work in the field already and can attest to the practicality of the course. Dr. Cheeks has years of experience, is willing to help you in any way, and really pushes her students to think. Her assignments are designed to get you ready for the real world. She does not emphasize due dates. Take Dr. Cheek's class.

She assigns a lot of work compared to other teachers for this subject! If you do not stay on top of it, you'll be in trouble. She hardly answers emails and if she does, it is usually too late. She is really nice and expects a lot from the class. I actually did work for her class and got a high A so it really isn't that hard.

I really think she was not that bad of a teacher. Some of the texts we read were actually interesting and helpful for my other classes. She is high-spirited and just wants everyone to be successful in the future

Dr. Cheeks has high expectations for this class, even though it is supposed to be easy. I believe she just wants the best from her students and prepare them for future classes. Lots of critical thinking, reading, and writing. She is willing to help you know matter what!

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! She included grading criteria for each assignment on the syllabus and took off points for items NOT on the syllabus. She even took off points for not including a document I CLEARLY had. She still didn't believe me until I pointed out the title of the document in a related document and the document itself!!!

She is the sweetest lady ever! Take her if you need this class. She gives a lot of reflection assignments after you read but it is easy and not hard at all. Buy the text because you need it to read. Hardly any tests and no homework!

Does not teach! She is an idiot because she assigns homework and does not even collect it let alone remember giving it to us. She is not a mean person but she seems mean because she is so strict. A part of me feels bad for her because she is crazy. She should be fired and if you have her as a teacher drop her!

She is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. I hate her class, she gives so much work, she is totally the most unorganized women I have ever encountered, she does not know what she is talking about. She lies about what we are doing in class, for example we were supposed to have a vocab test two times but both times she canceled!

Dr.Cheeks is a nice lady and a easy grader but disorganized when it comes to things on the syllabus. I would say dont strictly follow the syllabus or you will be lost. We were behind by one month lol. Anyway you get graded on Vocad Team Collaboration Exams and reflections. Easy A grade if you do everything asked. Alot of reading beware.

This lady really knows her stuff! She expects a lot from her students and our class tried to live up to her expectations. I learned more form her than any other professor I've taken so far! I was totally engrossed in her classes. She's an excellent speaker with a superb voacbualry that keeps you totally on your toes. You work but it's worth it

She is not a very detailed and specific person. So you do the work and think it's perfect and come to find out she wants it a totally different way. Also very boring... could barely sit through class without falling asleep. Recommend that you take someone else!
