Comment:

The course itself is an amazing concept. Guest speakers from MLSE, BCG, La Liga, NHL, TSN (depending on if it's soccer/hockey/basketball). They even brought the MLS Cup to class. You get the chance to pitch to real business professionals. However, Cheri is extremely unorganized (so is the course). She uses TA's who themselves, aren't great either.

Comment:

SUPER unorganized, NEVER responds to email and cancels classes all the time. The first class was dismissed after 10 minutes because she literally just had nothing prepared. Lecture material wasn't posted online until 4 days before the final exam. Could be a really interesting class with valuable information, too bad Cheri is a terrible prof.

She's not organized at all, it's difficult to keep track of what's going on in class because she is hardly even the class herself. The TA's are the ones doing most of the teaching. This class mainly consists of guest speakers, also tests are mostly based off of what guest speakers have said. It also takes her very long to post course work online.

Comment:

Really easy A. All you need to do is show up for class and the guest lectures. The individual assignment and group assignment are very easy. The tests are easy if you study, and are even easier if you have a background in sports knowledge. The guest lectures can be interesting. Cheri is just disorganized and slow with emails, which is frustrating.

Cheri is a disorganized professor and did forget one of my marks before she realized and bumped my final grade. The class is an easy A and we had guest lectures every week, which were interesting and we learned about basketball and the industry. The class was interesting and an easy A. Cheri is very chill but disorganized. Very relaxing class.

She is EXTREMLY disorganized. She needs to really IMPROVE her communication with students. She even ignores emails after reading them several times. She promised bonus marks during the semester, but never delivered. Her grading takes extremely long even with 2 TAs to assist. Do not take its not even an easy A as the reviews lead you to believe.

Cheri is a great prof. She is well connected in the sports industry and knows the content inside out. MKT829 was a super interesting course. However, she is disorganized with the class and never replies to emails. It takes forever to get your marks back. If you can't handle the stress of not getting your grades back don't take the course. Easy A.

Dr Bradish is by far one of the best profs I had the pleasure of knowing in my last year at Ryerson. She really goes above and beyond to ensure a rich learning experience. 829 is a tough course to teach, and she is quite "fluid" with her structure, but if you put in the time - you'll do just fine. The guest-speakers were all excellent.

worst professor. she's nice, but NEVER replies to emails, flops on student meetings, SUPER unorganized. if you're someone who needs to know their grades, good luck. doesn't post slides, and doesn't post grades til basically the end of the semester, and always something wrong. useless with feedback or help with assignments

For those complaining about her posting stuff the day before the test, I agree, however the stuff will only take you about an hour to go through if you went to every class and paid attention. She's a really nice person! When she does teach, the things we learn are pretty interesting and relevant to the course. I think she needs to hire a TA who can help her upload things on BB though. She takes a really long time to post important things we need. Such as the readings. And our assignments. Some may not be used to her teaching style.

This woman is an absolute gem! She loves what she does and it is certainly felt in her classroom. It is amazing to see how full of energy she is while every other prof in the bloody university seems to hate their life. A great class taught by great prof. Glad to have her at Ryerson!
