Every single assignment in this class is annoying, not difficult just really annoying. Very passive aggressive but a fair grader. Keep a close eye on the syllabus you'll be expected to keep track of when assignments are due. Only made us come to class one day a week which was nice. Don't skip.

So wildly unprepared and unorganized. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be the one responsible for teaching yourself and keeping the professor on topic and on track. Lectures are long and she doesn't spend time anything and speeds through her presentations to get everything in.

One of the first classes I took and she is a good professor. There is ALOT of reading but that's to be expected. Follow the lectures and slides and complete papers and you will be good to go. She was available for web sessions to ask questions outside of class as well. She really showed she cared

Mediocre. She's very educated on the subject matter. Be ready to study, tests were difficult but I managed to pull a B. Unfortunately she does take attendance every class. This was one of my first IT courses and it wasn't too bad so odds are it won't be for you either.

The tests are ridiculous, but the weekly homework assignments weren't too bad (just have to remember to do them). It was a hybrid so I'm not gonna lie I sometimes forgot to do the "virtual work" (weekly homeworks) but like I said they weren't bad. 2 tests, weekly homeworks, 1 presentation & 1 group paper. Offers extra credit but it's not that much

She doesn't allow HW for an extra time. Her tests are hardest. She cuts point like she is giving money out. Her lectures go on off-topics. She makes the class hybrid, doesn't explain slide but give talks from her experience. Lots of work for this class that won't worth.

This teacher should BE FIRED! Doesn't give you grading criteria (you won't know what to account for), she rushes through her lectures to a point barely anyone can understand them, she graded assignments heavily & practically ONLY based on including citations, not on the content of the work. She provides students no incentives to even try to care.

She's beyond picky when it comes to citations. A slow and inconsistent grader. Don't even try turning something in late. Attendance is mandatory. Midterm, Final, Group project and Solo Project. Mostly multiple choice questions and 5 short answer questions she mentions during class if you pay attention. If you can avoid her, please do.

Very very easy English class. I am an awful writer and I still received an A. She is very nice and helpful if you need it. This class might be an easy A, however it is a lot of work. 1-2 papers a week. But like I said, as long as you do them, you'll end up with an A.

She is the worst professor in the Computer Science Department. The code of Ethics Group Project has no instructions so you are on your own. All blackboard discussions have no due dates and you are forced to look at the online syllabus to find them. Blackboard discussions have to have citations and you cant use your own experience. DO NOT TAKE HER!!

This was my first online class and Brown made it easy. Basically follow her directions, turn in the assignments on time and you will get an A. Her assistants/aids are always willing to help if needed.

I took her for the fall. It was a hybrid class & attend is mandatory or you wont pass. She does give significant extra credit. Her tests are hard & she has alot of short answer ?'s on them. You must cite everything you write or you will do bad but overall the class is easy. She gives weekly discussion board ?'s, a midterm, final, grp & solo proj

took her class online. No help from her whatsoever. She never replied back to any student emails which was frustrating because it was an online class. I would receive constant emails from other students in the course through blackboard because teacher was no help, so we had to help each other out. Easy A but frustrating teacher.

She's fine as a teacher but I really disliked her as a person. Preachy and absolutely OBSESSED with citations. You can't write down your birthday in this class without citing your birth certificate. Group paper at the start of the semester. Solo presentation at the end, takes points off if you don't dress up for it, which is ridiculous.

Professor Brown is the best. The work in this class was really easy. Just make sure to come to class but just do the work and you will do fine in the class, that's it.

Favorite teacher, so nice and really seems to care about what she teaches and her students. Work is basically all graded on participation. A little disorganized at times but she makes up for it, won't penalize you for turning in things late because she knows she can be confusing. Definitely take her if you can.

I would not recommend her to anyone. She is nice, but nice is not what I'm looking for. This class is a hybrid class(we meet once a week). She spends the entire time going over the powerpoints. Then she'll assign a project and expect us to teach ourselves how to get it done. She never goes over this material. I hated ever minute of this class!
