had her during my MBA, by far the worst "teacher" (she is NOT a prof) I ever had. I was far more knowledgeable on the subject matter than she was. An absolutely dreadful experience. She has no idea what is going on in the world of business, should be fired

Comment:

The class had a high work load but was extremely useful. The learnings were directly transferable to any job. Her teaching style was very conversational and she strongly encouraged class participation which helped with the learnings. I really enjoyed her class and would definitely take another class that she was teaching.

Mixed feelings. She seems like a nice lady but she could often use a shot of adrenaline cause she can be boring. She's a VERY VERY hard marker. She's retiring now but said she'll still teach an occasional MBA course in Toronto.

Why was she teching MBA classes? When is this school going to stop hurting its own BRAND. She should be doing secretarial jobs, or admin jobs may be not teaching. What a wasteage of time and money! I feel sorry for her !! and the students !!

I love a tough prof who tests your abilites in a fair & consistent manner. Harvey is moody, unprofessional - almost a cruel person. Seems to plays favourites and marking is inconsistent. Appears not to have overhauled course content in sometime. A black eye on Laurier and a poor use of your time
