He talks out of the side of his mouth A LOT. His class is hard because the grade is based only on quizzes, exams, and a final. If you ask a question he usually makes you feel stupid or snaps at you. Always makes angry comments about how he, "might be getting laid off" Wastes half the class time going over homework, leaving 15 mins to teach a lesson

Jepsen is a nice guy, but has a tendency to snap at people. It really just depends on his mood the day that day. He does spend a majority of class going over homework, but it really helped bolster knowledge on the material. He is open to questions during lecture and office hours. He looks like Paul Giamatti and talks out of the side of his mouth.

Take anyone other than him if you can! His idea of teaching is lecturing from the textbook that he continuously criticized. Homework is worth no points. The entire grade is based off of quizzes and exams. All you do in class is go over homework, and half the time he gets annoyed if you ask a question. His ?lectures? were so fast you never had

Jepsen is a nice guy, but not the best teacher. Grade is only based on tests and quizzes. He rings out the answers to the previous night's homework, which is cool, but then he spends the large majority of class time talking about those answers. He doesn't spend enough time actually teaching the new lesson. Ask questions and he will help.

Jepsen is a hard professor, although he is willing to help he has no sympathy for those struggling. He does not grade on the curve, and even if you're in the border line he will not honor the higher grade. I had an A in the class, the final dropped my grade a bit and he still gave me a B. I think is unfair, especially if I was doing so good.

This professor is a typical math know it all who does not care if you get it or not. This professor does not deserve to be called a professor. It's a job, thats all and why would you ask me when you should know it attitude. This is why I have no sympathy if teachers get pink slips.

Prof. Jepson can be a little confusing sometimes, but is always willing to help. Gives handouts every class, with the answers to the homework, quiz, or test from the last class. The quizzes and tests can be a little tricky. The tests are similar to the quizzes. Does a review before quizzes/tests, but these are timed. This can be a bit frustrating.

WTF!!-he actually said that to a student. He is rude and anal and DOES NOT BELONG TEACHING!! NO credit 4 being in class/doing your best! 2 picky

This is the class where you think you understand the material, but you go to take the quiz/test and you end up not doing good. Jepsen was always available for help. His tests and quizzes have T/F questions on them, which I really didn't like. Not a bad teacher, class was just difficult.

I like Jepsen a lot. Missed some classes and he was very helpful in catching me up. He prints numerous worksheets out and gives everyone quiz answers after the quiz is taken, so you have helpful material to study with. I would take him again. Yes, he is fast paced, but this is college. Deal!

He is not bad at all!! He is always available if you have ?s and very helpful. Test are long for time allowed but test and quiz questions are coverd in class. If you go to class you should at least get a B-. they cover this subject material in elementary school!!!

Jepsen is unhappy teaching and it shows. Resourceful sudents should get tests and quizes from someone who already took the class. Although I did not get lucky enough to get the old quizes/exams I know students who did and it payed off. Otherwise, you are doomed to studying hard and doing mediocre. My best advice - take someone else.

Class is easy if you know your stuff, otherwise it's very easy to fall behind since HW is optional. He doesn't provide test/quiz review sheets, and the questions on the tests/quizzes are very specific to problems covered in HW and in class. If you ask for help, he's very nice and willing to help, but his manner of explaining is kind of fast-paced

I don't know why anyone is complaining. He's hard, but all you have to do is go to class and pay attention and you'll do fine. He's always available for office hours, so basically, you get out of this class what you put in. I think he's a nice guy and a great teacher. You can't expect to have a teacher hold your hand through college.

he is a tough grader. does not take roll or collect homework, five quizzes get to drop one, and three exams... he takes a lot of points off on really minor details, like spelling! he is nice, but just loves math way too much... I am glad I am out of his class, he teaches things soo fast and expects you to get it right then.

He is a very tough grader. He will take off for spelling even!!! You better go to class. It seems easy and then builds on itself! You dont have to turn in any homework. But, then you dont do it. Do the hw anyway!

He's a kind professor, but he IS a tough grader. You must mark every answer perfectly (don't leave out a percentage sign or mislabel something). This class is fair though. He repeats everything multiple times, so (if you're listening) you should understand the material.

Mr. Jepsen is a freak. He is a obsessed passive-agressive perfectionist who knows his material, but hardly a good teacher. His catchphrase is, "You got it?" even if it looks like no one understands. My advice, concentrate on the Homework and study for the quiz. There are no calculators, and no notes on quizzes and exams.
