Comment:

He is a really nice guy and is willing to help. But he talks way too fast and speeds through explanations. I think teaching undergrad is on way too low of a level for him. If you have no choice then take him. But if you take it with someone else do that. He is very energetic almost at a scary level. Definitely one of hte coolest teachers @ school.

He is seriously cool which is why most people recommend him BUT talks way to fast and you don't get anything out of his lecture. Your too busy laughing at his south park jokes to retain the concept of arbitrage. Make friends with this guy but do not take his class!

he rambles on with no meaning and jumps from one subject to the other without filling in the gaps. He talks way too fast. very funny and cool guy, but just a poor teacher altogether. I haven't had any trouble in my other classes, just his.

We do crosswords in this class everyday because it is boring and tobler goes off on weird tangents that make no sense. It definitely is not a challenging class though...you should be able to do reasonably well with very little effort
