Great prof. He's a genius when it comes to Linux and Fedora, is very enthusiastic and does a great job with his course material. There are no mind games to trick questions in his course: you do the labs, take notes in your lab book, you get an A. Extremely helpful and always willing to help. He smiles a lot too.

I have yet to have a better professor than Mr. Tyler. He is one of my favorite teachers. The man is incredible speaker and breaks down complex code into laymen terms. If you're considering or are in the process of taking programming, look no further and choose Chris for any subject that he maybe teaching.

Excellent Professor!! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn anything Linux. A course all about X-Windows. Chris is the guy writing THE official book about Fedora Core 5, a very nice honour in my opinion, he knows a LOT about Linux and computers in general, both hardware and software. Puts a lot of effort into his classes, is very friendly with his students, and he deserves a lot of recognition! Cheers Chris!
