CHristina is really nice an really knows her stuff but her lectures are long and she can over complicate things, her final exam was nothing like the practice questions and her homework assignments are needlessly tough and also nothing like the final. she will help you if you go to her though

Comment:

Bottaro is a great prof. She does her best to make the class as interesting as possible by preneting real world applications of the subject and can be very funny at times. Her explanations of concepts are excellent, she tries to get to know every student, and wants everyone to suceed. I would definitly recommend taking one of her courses.

very very boring, but does try to make it interesting. seems to be brutal for first year students but seems better in later years. first years, dont even bother going to class, just go to the tutorials... class is for naps

Great prof! She friendly, clear, funny, and tries to make the course interesting. Sure, the material can be dry, but it's *analytical chemistry* people! Very easy to talk to one on one, and good to her students when she marks exams/tests. Overall, she's awesome. Note that most bad reviews are left by first year students...!

I took this course, and then dropped it on the last possible day to drop courses. Bottaro sucked, She was constantly making stupid mistakes that her students were pointing out to her, and would often make mistakes even after corrected. Plus, her voice is ultra annoying. Booo. Run.Away.Now.

Comment:

Does have a slightly annoying voice, but makes up for it by going out of her way to help when you need it. Notes are detailed, tests are reasonable, and demonstrations by TAs are pretty cool. Is willing to review tests and concepts with you individually, and is generally very friendly. Do go to most tutorials, they are a huge help come study time.

Comment:

One of the most annoying voices I have ever heard. After and hour with her I am ready to shoot myself. Her notes are garbage,they are so confusing and totally useless. Its better to make your own notes out of the book. Stay away if you can help it, but if you end up in her class make sure to go to the tutorials. They will save you. Worst prof ever.

We asked her a question about a test and she responded "you dont want to start pissing off your proff now do you?" it was very inappropriate, and she wouldnt answer the simple question. Also her lectures are very bad... Chem tutorials were much more helpful.
