She's a fantastic professor. Everything you need to know for exams is clearly taught in her lessons. She breaks down chapters into different lessons with a corresponding worksheet for that lesson. DO THE WORKSHEETS! She's easily accessible outside of class and super helpful. The exams are tough so be prepared to study for hours for a good grade.

Geiger is easily the best professor to take Orgo 1 with, by a longshot. She lectures for about half the class, and then the other half is spent in groups working on a worksheet. Her tests are extremely fair, and she is an unbelievably nice and helpful person. Orgo is hard, but you're crazy to take it with anyone else.

Prof Geiger is amazing. Her lectures are interactive and you do practice problems at the end of almost every class to see if you really understand the material. Her tests however are on the more difficult side. She is very helpful in office hours and really wants students to understand the material not just a good grade. Read the textbook!

Very rude and condescending. One of the worst professors I've had.

Geiger was nice but a very tough grader. The first class I really struggled with and couldnt get a grasp on. She lecture for half the class then gives your group a worksheet that is very hard to complete in twenty minutes. She is nice and tries to be helpful, but in the end your grade might struggle because of her teaching method and grading

Geiger is honestly, one of the best teachers I have ever had at Geneseo. Orgo is hard, regardless who you take, but she's very dedicated and so helpful during office hours. She's super peppy and funny and overall a wonderful teacher. Just make sure to be on top of her lessons and do the recommended reading. She is a very harsh grader however.

First off, Organic Chem will be hard no matter who you take it with. But Geiger makes it bearable- she really wants to see her students succeed and is very approachable for help. The entire class is going over the lectures before class and doing worksheets in class. Curved final grades around the average (average becomes a B) which is nice.

Didn't lecture more than 5 times all semester. Gave lots of group work which was all graded for the most part so it forced you to read the notes the day before because your grade on it. Orgo is hard no matter what so needless to say she was not an easy grader. Really liked her as a person and a fast grader.

I heard she was the best organic teacher, so I decided to take here. However, this year she switched to "reverse classroom." This may work for some classes, but not for orgo. She barely lectured (maybe no more than 10 times this semester). This especially doesn't work for a class where the textbook is absolutely horrible (plus many mistakes).

Dr. Geiger is very approachable. You must print the lecture slides prior to class or you will have difficulty keeping up. There is an extremely large amount of material on each exam (especially compared to other institutions) and little time to spare; if you don't know the answer, you may as well move on.

She is a very nice person but doesn't do a lot in lab. Most of the lab is taught by tas and she only does the prelab. She's easy to talk to and her husband wrote the lab book used so she knows all about it. *strongly recommend taking the semester after chem 1 not during.

Absolutely awesome, very helpful both in class and in office hours. Reading the textbook helps, and the online homeworks are linked to it and very helpful. Exams and group quizzes are difficult but passable. From Costa Rica and has an accent, but is easy to understand. Can use molecular models on exams. Lectures and class work are very helpful.

She is a great professor and definitely keeps the class entertaining instead of boring. The tests and quizzes are definitely hard, but she is always willing to help people out. Make sure to go to her office hours. She is always super helpful and tends to round up the grades of people who go to them. I definitely recommend her as a professor.

Orgo is hard no matter where you are or who you take it from, but she presented the material in a way that is relatively easy to understand and remember. If you don't print the lecture slides, you will NEVER be able to copy all the notes. Her accent made her a little more difficult to understand, but not impossible. Extremely helpful!!

I've taken orgo with both Christina and Dave and I prefer Dave because he's easier to understand, but Christina is still a great professor. I just get caught up in trying to understand her through her accent.

Lab with Geiger is a lot of fun and she is very helpful. However, she is very picky with your lab reports and will take off points for little errors so make sure you put enough work into them. Very helpful during office hours and loves talking to her students and getting to know you during lab.

Dr. Geiger is by far the best professor I've had at Geneseo. Her tests and quizzes are difficult but as long as you put the time and effort in, you will do well. She is very responsive and helpful during office hours and wants everyone to succeed. Her class is challenging but if you do the work you will definitely learn a lot.

Christina is a pretty good professor. I personally had a hard time with her accent at first but it's something you get used to and is funny at times. Don't get on her bad side or you will never get off. If you break an arm or have a traumatizing event happen mid semester DROP! She will give you no leeway or help you in any way
