Very nice person. She actually has a sense of humor. But if you don't understand a certain subject, you had better write down everything she writes on the board before she erases it. I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR! My favorite professor since attending college. She is so helpful if you go to her office hours. She is so sweet and genuine! She wants you to do well. She will also tell you what's on the test if you go to her office hours! Love her!

Nice and loves to talk. Homework isn't mandatory but do it if you want to do well. Go to her office hours if you need additional help, she'll give you questions basically right off of the test. I'm horrible at math but she didn't make me dread going to class. Did everything she could to help us get a good grade.

She doesn't go over the homework, but make sure you do it- her tests are taken straight from it. She's also incredibly nice and helpful. Once, on the day of the test, I stopped by her office hours to get help and she explained everything. I hate math, and she made it somewhat fun.

One of the better math teachers I've had. She's a bit of a wisecracker, but she tries to connect her math problems to real life and make them worth learning. Her tests can be hard if you don't do the homework since the problems are examples from the book. Go to class everyday, take notes, and study; you'll be fine.

Matus is probably one of the best math teachers i have ever had. She is extremely helpful. I am horrible at math, but I attended every class, and sometimes went to office hours and got an A in the class. Do her MathLab homework. There is extra credit built in. Keep up with it though, cause it will pile up. I would recommend her!!!

I was terrified of taking calc, especially since WCU is not known for good math profs, but I found her very easy to understand, and while she can go fast at times, she will stop and explain as long as you ask! She also went out of her way to help me at the end of the semester when I had some unexpected issues outside of class. Just do the homework.
