Criss is very nice and knowledgeable in the subject, but BEWARE! Her lectures are BORING af. You have to read a philosophy book and write 2 reports on it. Random class assignments, so attendance is mandatory, bc you never know when she'll assign them. Quizzes after finishing each chapters (which could range from 1-4 class days) and 4 Exams.

She likes to tell stories about her life and she tends to go off topic quite a bit. You don't really need the textbook because everything is in her power points. She gives quizzes every now and then and they're fairly easy. Only complaint is that lecture/class is boring!

Class is not too difficult, make sure to read powerpoints before class to understand. Professor is nice just a little scatter brained and tends to go off topic frequently.

Fairly easy class. You just have to show up for every class and make sure you pay attention, which can be hard because she's typically off topic. I would suggest studying her PowerPoint's before class, cause her quizzes are a bit difficult. Only one exam, and it's the final. No book needed.

There are 3 exams, a couple of 1 page papers, and a lot of extra credit. You do not need the book, because everything is based off her powerpoints. Attendance is mandatory, as she will give out extra credit points for those that attend class. She does go off topic sometimes, but all the answers to the exams are found in the powerpoints.

Criss is a great teacher and has a lot of passion with what she teaches. Unless you are a philosophy buff I wouldn't recommend taking her for 182. It is a rough class and there is a ton of material to learn. She covers topics as if we all majored in Philosophy. If you like that stuff than take her. If not, take someone else.

I am not sure that I learned much because I was focused on trying to memorize her powerpoints. However, she takes kind of an interesting approach where she integrates ABA with bio and cognitive (but with upperhand emphasis on ABA). If you are not into ABA, then it could challenging. But she is definitely cool and not too difficult.

Criss is very easy to follow. She uses a lot of class time to talk about her life and herself, but she makes it clear what is expected on tests. Attendance will make or break your grade. If you show up every time and get C's on the tests you can pull an A. (That's what I did).

She is a great professor. Really enjoys what she teaches. And she definitely knows her stuff! Some of the material is a bit complex but as long as you go to class and pay attention and read you will do fine. Offers a lot of extra credit for just showing up. So show up and you will do fine even if you aren't doing so well on tests.

Goes off powerpoint... lectures are very boring...goes way off topic. has surprise in class assignments which are worth 15 points and somedays she takes attendence for points. Assignments are not too bad but the tests are hard if you dont read the book. if you do the assignments and fail the tests you can get a b in the class!

This is the most boring class I have ever taken. I dreaded listening to the powerpoint slides being read word-for-word. The course covers a ton of information and this professor fails to make it interesting at all.

She offers so much extra credit (via attendence & short in-class assignments) that you can get a B or C average on tests & still get an A in the class. Final is cumulative, but wasn't too bad. She uses Blackboard & Powerpoint, so lectures are available & you're always aware of your grade. Her personality is a little condescending, though.

She is really nice, but she reads from the power point which makes it really boring. Her tests are tough, taking mainly from the reading...so if you don't read, no good grade. She will help you, but sometimes it's easier to ask someone else for help.

she is extremely hard...if i could turn back time,i wouldn't have taken her...it is probably her teaching that makes the class hard..beside that the material itself for this course is confusing with too many terms to remember as well as trying to incorportate it into reality...

Boring and insultingly easy. She only taught behaviorist theory, even though the class was Learning and MEMORY there was no cognitive element. I felt let down and I didn't learn anything.
