He is very inspiring because of all the experiences he talks about from being a teacher. However, what expects from us as students can kind of be unclear.

Very interesting and informative lectures. Class discussions were student-oriented. The reading assignments were enlightening. I loved this class. You get out of this class what you put in. He's one of the best professors I've had yet.

He talks about teaching based on his experiences in the 70's. He's lost touch with reality and gets angry at anyone who starts an interesting dialogue.

Students research all class material, therefore class discussions are factually based, not opinions. Learned a ton, more than I realized as we approach the end. We learned laws, Race to the Top, how to design a website with quality content,BCLAD and CLAD, and about well known authors who are practicing teachers. He is a super great professor!

He is a great guy very understanding, but he gets very excited about what he is teaching. Just one paper, 5 online things, and one exam and your done.

He was very understanding when I had issues with my personal life. The class is easy when he figures out how to explain everything and you finally understand it. Although he is very nice, he does go off on tangents. He is very easy to work with

Definitely a lot of ranting going on in this class. Extremely biased professor who uses class time to express his thoughts and make sure you agree with him. Only one paper, one interview, and one test, so as far as work goes, its not bad at all. Just sit and listen to his opinions and you'll be fine.

This man has a horrible teaching style. He teaches based on his opinions and not on facts. If you are going into the teaching profession, do not take this course with him. You will get nothing out of the class. Take this course with another teacher, where you can actually learn something.

Zartman does not practice what he preaches. He is lazy, unorganized and cries frequently in class. I have heard the other instructor for EDTE 302 is much better. Although if you don't mind long boring pointless lectures. If you just sit through it...you'll get an A. But he is possibly the most uninspiring professor I have had.
