Cindy is an absolute gem. Ive had her for 3 classes now, and she is the most understanding prof Ive had. If you are having troubles outside of school she is caring and empathetic, and is willing to help you in order to complete the course successfully. In-class assignments are very common, but I found myself looking forward to this class.

After taking previous English courses thought I would be strong in Rhetoric. However this was not the case. Hard teacher who really makes you work. Would ask for clarification or to see if my paper was on the right track and would not help. Glad it is over. Online was hard. Would email 48 hours in advance and still no answer. Responded once.

I am half way through my third year, and Cindy is still my favourite professor. She is enthusiastic, very helpful and kind, and I would take her again if I could. For the most part she makes the classes interesting and I enjoyed attending her classes.

Good prof who reads the material very well. English is not usually the most exciting subject on planet Earth, but she makes reading some of the materials at least bearable. Most of her assignments are all marked by TA's, so the marking can be inconsistent at times. She only marks the final exam like most profs these days. All in all pretty good.

Her passion comes through in her work. She cares and is very animated and interesting. She explains all things is great detail and makes sure we understand. ||Why her enjoyment of wordsworth bothers people is beyond me... has nothing to do with her teaching ability.
