He wants his students to really understand the concepts and how they apply when you're out in the real world. He's great with explaining concepts during his lectures, and he lets you redo labs and assignments until you get the mark you want. Exams are very content heavy though, he has a lot of additional resources so expect to actually study

Comment:

One of the best professors I've ever had. People may find him strict or straightforward but if you do what a responsible student does, which is study, you'll do fine. He emphasizes in group projects that "we are working with people are not robots" which is something that business professors would never say. Very honest but very nice as a person.

I'll be honest. The worst profs I ever had at Ryerson University. Tough grader, doesn't go over a lot of contents in class. Even though you are stuck in his class for 4 hours, you still have to read the entire textbook. Talks about his life all day along. Very rude. AVOID!

The worst. Try to avoid him. A sad part is he is the only prof who teaches CITM 100. (Don't know about ITM 100) I'll be honest with you guys. He acts and talks like he cares about his students but not at all. Really don't understand the way he marks. Boring lecture, useless personal examples. He knows his stuff and expects his students to know all

Comment:

Claude is actually a very insightful prof. He taught Supply Chain Architecture really well. ERP is his strong point as he works in that sector which is why he is probably better at teaching this course. He is engaging and understanding. Follow his formats and do his practice quizzes in the lab and you will be okay.

Avoid- prof makes little sense, yells, is very disorganized, has unclear grading schemes. Highly unstructured lectures and vague course content. Assignments follow same vague direction: "apply a to b". Do not deviate from his "templates" and don't forget to submit a hard copy. Memorize, attend class, and read book + slides to do well in tests.

It's not that he can't teach, its just that he doesn't teach at all. His comments aren't constructive. . Do yourself a favour and take this course with someone else. Unless you are great at self studying an unreadable book which he admits herself is poorly written.

He constantly threatens to give us 0s for not following his expectations, which he keeps secret. Additionally, he randomly starts yelling during lectures, and then asks if we have any questions when everyone is too scared to respond. During lecture, he barely covers the material. For students who are planning to take ITM 100/, I would advise avoiding this prof. As for the course, the book is not the greatest source(STILL READ IT) since the exam may consist of answers you either never seen before or most of the MC answers are similar.
