I love Mr. Henry! I had him in high school. I learned more in his class than I had in any other high school class. He made me realize that I was capable of working harder and getting better grades, but by that time it was too late, so I got a C-. I still love him though. He's very intelligent.

Mr. Henry is the most dedicated English professor I know. I took his English class in High School and I enjoyed every minute of it. He explains everything he expects the 1st day of class and yes there is a lot of reading, but isn't that what English is about anyway? He grades hard with grammar because grammar is key! this was one of the hardest classes that i have ever taken...he takes off for the smallest things and dont even think about missing a night of reading...yeah they werent joking...you have to read every songle night for that class...in simple terms...STAY AWAY!!!!

this guy SUCKS! if you value your grades DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! you read a essay everynight and take a quiz the next day. he takes off huge points for minor misakes i spelled czechoslavakia[?] wrong it was 15 points off!!! he'll embarrass you infront of the whole class. it takes MONTHS to get your essays back also.

Do not take this man. He is very unclear of what he wants and takes off for minor things even on quizzes. He takes off for not adding quotation marks and underlining stories and grammar on little short quizzes. I thought he was not that bad but he's the worst English professor I have ever came across. I do not recommend no one to take his class

I passed 1101 with an A easily. I took honors english in high school, and have never had a problem in this subject. Henry is very unreasonable, and is an **** when it comes to grading! I do not recommend him for anything, and should be removed as a teacher for just a regular elective, and should just be fro english majors!

Professor Henry is a very hard grader. He takes off points for the smallest errors. In this class you wil have a reading quiz EVERYDAY! He might ask you one question, and your answer will be correct, but he will mark it wrong because of the way you wrote it. He is not very clear of what to expect. I love English and he made the class harder tha

His first day of class, his comment is "if you're over 30 it's not my fault you didn't do it right the first time"---should have dropped the class right then!!!! Made a D then an A in 1102 under a different teacher--my GPA is 3.6 so you tell me how "unfair" he is!

Henry Clayton is an interesting teacher. I enjoy listening to him teach. However, when it comes to grading, he is unfair. He grades his students as if we are all English majors. He takes off points for unnecessary things.
