He is probably the best lab instructor I've ever had! He knows that the courses are difficult and will try and give you the best lab grade so you can up your overall mark. For the second year courses he also gave mini-lecturestutorials on all things to do with spec and he went over what he was looking for in the reports. Super helpful, super nice!

Amazing at the lab portion, and as noted before, one of the smartest non-PHD teachers in the chemistry department. Tutorials are amazing and extremely helpful. Wish he taught the damn course

Cliff is 100% the reason I did well in this course, and if I do well in 2401 its because of him too. Orders his tutorials so everything flows from one aspect to the next perfectly. Even for 2100 and 2302 he knows exactly what to do even though he is obviously an organic chemist. Very smart

I love this man! He knows chemistry so well and never hesitates to help you if you need it. Definitely one of the smartest people I know. He's a really fair marker on the assignments and actually writes down where you went wrong! He cares about his students and how well they do. I did awful in high school chem and got an A in this course :)

As mentioned before, Cliff is probably the smartest non-PhD man this side of the ocean. I guess when you've been in the lab as long as he has, you get really good at Organic Chemistry. Amazing lab instructor, crystal clear, and very helpful. Also very helpful in the resource room, I think they should rename the chemistry building for him!

Cliff is the man!! I have to say that he is the most sweetest guy ever!! He explains things so well and actually makes you understand whats going on...EXCELLENT lab instructor! I think hes the only person that I actually had no problem going to see to get help because I knew I wasn't going to be wasting my time!

Cliffy Grignard! You are my chemistry hero! Cliffy is the most brilliant non ph.d organic chemist in the western hemisphere! This man devotes his own personal time on weeknights opening the resource room so people can get help before exams. THE...MAN. Cliff is both knowledgeable, and kind to boot. He knows EVERYTHING and he has an excellent way of explaining difficult concepts to students. Hosts tutorials and has extended resource room hours for students if they need it. I couldn't say enough about how great this guy is. Way to go!
