Flash Gordon treated this CALCULUS course like it was a high school algebra course. He acted as though we were fresh out of Algebra 1 and knew nothing beyond that, which is ridiculous for a college level calculus course. He was slow as all hell and treated the most basic principles as groundbreaking new, difficult concepts.

Cliffy G is the man! His writing is gorgeous, but sometimes hard to read. But fear not! Just ask and he will answer any question you have! Not to mention he has office hours where he plays hearts until someone comes in for help! The class is very fast paced, but that is the nature of the beast. Cliff Gordon is amazing!

Had him for Applied Calculas He writes in cursive, which is kinda hard to read sometimes. The talks fast, writes faster, but if you pay attention, and get the examples down, your do fine, he makes hours to help students and has no problem helping students after the class. The class covers alot of information, but thats college calculas for you.

This class was horrible. If you are not good in math then find another teacher. If at least two students in the class understand the material (regardless of all the others who do not) he moves on. Do not expect any personalized help from this man. PRAY that you test out if you have Clifford Gordon.

I found it very difficult to take in Gordon's teachings. It seemed less like he was teaching and more like he was just talking to himself while he wrote on the board. He also went very fast and covered what felt like way too much to take in every class. I've always performed poorly in math, but even with me writing down and going over everything he said, I still didn't do well.

90% of the class is based on tests. Sometimes you don't cover homeworks until the day of the test. Covers an incredable amount each class + goes very fast. This should be 2 3-credit classes not 1 4-credit class. He was fine in College Algebra though...

Being out of school for 14 years, i was fearful to take Algebra again. Mr Gordon did an outstanding job teaching the class, i ended up with an A in the class. There is no guessing with him, he tells you what to study for and what is on the tests.
