Comment:

Good if you're in italian studies, expects you to know everything. Unattainable perceptions of essay writing. Not recommended for art students. Tangents are boring and repetitive, quizzes are useless, stupid info that is used & hard to study. Test has little variation of slides compared to slides given to study. Just overall the worst art history.

Prof. Federici is a highly underutilized asset to the ITAL/MARS programs. He is one of the most interesting, intelligent and challenging profs at Brock. He does have a tendency to meander but he's aware of if it and welcomes students' help to guide him back on track. Truly a fascinating and inspiring prof.

Great person; goes out of his way to get materials for students. Course was a coordinated "guest lecturer" style that didn't work. Not in tandem with 5P01 (theory). Doesn't matter how much you improve a paper, still wants more. Challenging, but that's grad school.

Stunningly passionate intellect with heart stopping breadth of knowledge. He is one of Brocks most precious academic and intellectual resources. He is nearing retirement so don?t miss the opportunity to study with him. Very demanding & fair task master in traditional style, a reminder of what university level intellectual pursuit is all about.

Great professor. He definitely knows his stuff & is excited to teach and discuss. The only problem would be he was too excited, and kept talking without keeping track of time - we were 3 weeks behind! I learned so much just from listening to him. He makes class fun&jokes around which helps all the info stick Beware, tests were tough.
