If this is the same guy who "taught" me biology in '95 then he's terrible. He actually told the class that the HIV virus can transmit itself THROUGH condoms. Yes, a biology teacher was lying to his class for the sake of pushing his religious ethics on us. Avoid, unless you're a young-Earth espousing creationist moron.
