Not very understanding. All you need is memorizing, which it does not teach you anything in the real world. If you memorize the text, you get an A, if you understand it, you get a D/C. Not a great teacher.

Great professor and likes teaching the subject. The only thing though the way she words the exams. She claims that the questions are as clear as can be, but they're not. Read carefully or not, ure still going to be confused.

Only interesting of lectures is the ads she shows. Memorize PPts! Even then exam material isn't clear on what she asks. Do good on presentation it'll help your grade. She gives you the option of being graded stronger on exams or presentations--CHOOSE PRESENTATIONS. I think her translations from Frensh to English don't come off well on the exams

I earned an 'B+' only because I understood her poorly written tests. Coursework is overwhelming. If you like doing 10 2-page written assignments, a project that takes 15+ hours or prep and 4 tests with an optional extra presentation take her. I wouldn't again.

I lived Dr. Russell. She is the best teacher in the Marketing Dept. at SDSU!!! You would be stupid NOT to take her class! I think she is the only teacher in the dept. who really cares about the students. I have learned a lot and think her course will help me get a job!

Wow, what a GREAT instructor! Her class is the BEST I've ever had. You will learn a lot about Marketing and life in general in her class. I hope to have her for another class before graduation as she is very inspiring abd caring. She is ALWAYS there for her students, unlike many other teachers!

She is a great professor. I would definetly recommend her for all of you Marketing majors. Tests aren't bad at all and the projects are fun but time consuming. Little easy hw assignments along the way, but overall GREAT class.

Great experience in the class, but very difficult material. The project is very rewarding if you worked hard, solid group is a must throughout the course. Cristel's a wonderful person, but can't stress enough that the course is far from easy.
