Professor Fox is extremely caring. Buy the textbook and read it front and back for exams because they can be tricky. Made B's on exams but an A overall. Talk in class and go to her office hours for help on the project. If you take notes the entire semester and she will bump you 1% point. Her lectures were engaging and did not dread going to class.

I hate to be rude, but Fox was probably one of the worst professors I've had. She is extremely unorganized, standoffish, and is just flat out not cut out to be a professor. She told my partner and I that we did phenomenal on our group project, but then turned around and gave us both C's. I genuinely think she has no idea what she's doing. AVOID HER

The absolute WORST professor. Discouraging and rude. First day of class she told me I would never find a career in what I hope to do. Her notes suck. I have no idea how she is qualified to "teach" students. Get the book if you expect to learn anything. Hard grader on group presentation, ironic bc she can't present a good lecture even if she tried.

She is absolutely the worst professor I have EVER had!!! She is straight up horrible. She is a pathetic excuse for a professor. Do yourself a favor and avoid this instructor by all means if possible!!!

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE. THE worst professor I have ever had in all my 3 years at UNCC. She is DISORGANIZED, MESSY and CONFUSED. Everything is a group project and she doesnt give specific guidelines but will take off points like crazy when it comes to grading. I get a headache looking at the canvas page because she has 500 files all over the place!

I've had Mrs. Fox for many classes and she's one of my favorites. Grading is unclear, like others have said, but she is very fair with the final grades. You receive the grade you've earned. Her classes are entertaining and engaging, while delivering the material and preparing her class for the test. Great teacher and would highly recommend

Fox is one of a kind, and not in a good way. Our optional final is tomorrow and we are still missing grades from months ago. Very unorganized, vague and boring. She always has specific requirements/wants for assignments that are never clearly stated in the instructions. Save yourself the headache and take a different elective with someone else.

Avoid this teacher if possible. Disorganized is an understatement. Her grading seems to be based on whatever she feels like because there are no clear rubrics. Multiple group projects, again not graded on any semblance of a rubric. Tests are difficult and based on the book/powerpoints. Boring lecture. Least enjoyable experience of any UNCC teacher.

This professor is disorganized beyond belief, doesn't communicate well AT ALL, and grades some assignments and exams over a month after they're turned in. The information you learn in the class is helpful but it wasn't worth it. Don't expect to know if you need to take the optional final until LITERALLY the day before the final. Avoid avoid avoid.

SO MANY GROUP PROJECTS. She is very vague in her directions and expectations -makes it hard to get As. I made sure to avoid taking other classes with her next semester. I thought I would thoroughly enjoy this class because it sounded interesting. I highly recommend this class, but with a different professor. Only positive - no textbook.

Fox is literally the worst teacher I've ever had at UNCC. Her instructions are never clear, and as others have said she's very scatter brained. I really don't know how I'm going to make it through the semester with her. Very unorganized, hard grader. DON'T take her. The class could be interesting but she makes you hate it.

Professor Fox is a very nice person, but she is not organized whatsoever. She is all over the place with her teaching and is not very clear on what she expects from you. She takes forever to grade assignments. Beware that tests are very hard, and I personally believe you get a better grade is she likes you more. Try to avoid if at all possible.

The number one problem I had with the class was that she doesn't post grades; she waits till the very las minute to do so. The course was ok but she seems to move off topic frequently. There are 3 exams and one optional exam; there are also 3 group projects which are pretty straight forward.

This course did a really good job in preparing me, background information wise, for any sales or negotiations I'll need to do in the future. We also practice a lot of sales pitches and negotiations and had guest speakers in sales roles come speak with us which helped in that field. I would recommend this class for the hands-on aspects and professor

We had a lot of guest speakers from various ad agencies around the Charlotte area and their expertise and advice was really great. Other than that the group projects, if you had a good group, were good opportunities to show off your advertising knowledge and what you learned. She is a little slow to get grades back but good w/any questions you have

I am an Accounting student and this has got to be the worst class that I have ever taken. I honestly do not believe that it's the material, because even though the subject of Marketing is unattractive to me, the overall concepts are interesting. Professor Fox was just a horrible professor, the worst one to date and I am a Senior. Avoid at ALL cost!

Overall she is great. There are a few group presentations you will have to do but she grades pretty easy on those. Tests are difficult. Just memorizing material isn't enough, you have to understand how to apply it. Class is fun because there is a lot of time for socializing but you are still engaged because Mrs. Fox is an interesting lecturer.

I took MKTG 3225 and 3226 with her this summer. I'm taking MKTG 3223 with her in the Fall. Good - She is a really nice. Invites guest speakers and takes the class on a field trip. Helpful if you ask. You don't need the book. Tests are from the Powerpoints. Bad - She is scattered brain. Instructions are confusing. Tests are tricky.
