5 papers, kinda a rough grader but not really, she never gave out A's on papers. She's really nice. She doesn't give you much time for papers only a week/week and half.

Professor Martin cares about her student's genuinely learning. She isn't a super easy grader but she weighs assignments more heavily on doing them and trying than on being perfect. She has an attendance policy of 3 absences which is definitely fair.

Great professor. One take home test and 4 pretty simple projects. Very clear on what she wants. Comes off a bit intimidating at first, but she is extremely nice and helpful and I felt like I actually learned a lot. The beginning of the class is a pretty boring grammar review, but after that it's fun and interactive!

Class is composed of 6 or so projects with no tests included blogging, info-graphic, photo essay, and more. You get to choose your topic for every single one. Fun projects, fair grader, but often her and I weren't on the same page (lectures). She also lets you redo an assignment at the end and averages the two grades from that assignment.

This class is entirely lab based, so really all you do is a few projects over the semester. The final portfolio is worth 70% of your grade, so you have to do good on that. She's nice and helpful.

I took her for WRTC 103, she's a nice professor, but a pretty tough one. I personally really sucked at writing. If you want to succeed in this class I recommend you go to the writing center, or get extra help. She's kind of a tough grader.

Honestly, you will become a better writer if you take Cynthia Martin's class. She provides excellent feedback. Although sometimes her initial rubrics are confusing. Be sure to clarify if you have any questions. She offers conferences for each assignment. Overall we only had 3 big papers and they were not that long. I received a B+ in the class.

Super chill professor. Honestly, the class was really easy but I still feel like I learned a lot because it's project based. Take Martin for 300. The assignments were really cool and she gives you a ton of time to work on them.

Professor Martin is a friendly woman and a good teacher. The class isn't actually about how to edit, but she has you do in-class activities and projects to help familiarize yourself with the profession. Many classes are devoted to working on projects, and a lot of the time she just reviewed the readings in class. However, I learned a ton from her!

She's really easy and makes the class fun and theres not a lot of grades but all of the grades are pretty easy. I'm a terrible writer and still pulled off an A. No tests, 1 paper, 1 group paper and then a digital story at the end. Try to take her if you can.

She is really helpful & nice. I'm not the best writer but i was able to get a B in the class. She does peer conferences for each of the 3 papers you have to write but i recommend going to her office hours again before the paper is due. She's great.

Good teacher. Very easy. Easier than AP Lang and Comp in my high school. Spoon feeds you information that you can easily find out yourself. Can't complain because its a Gened.

Very informed an interested. She really wants to help you become a better writer. Don't know your grade until the end of the semester which is not the greatest but overall very fair.

You have to go to class or else your grade drops, but seriously, this was my favorite class. You get a chance to revise papers and make something incredible out of them. She pushes you to your highest potential and really cares about her students. You have to create a public blog for class so keep track of entries and comments and you'll be fine.

good professor. I liked how she gave us time to revise our papers after our conferences, it really helped. I got my first A ever in english in her class, she's pretty lenient too. Topics were interesting, but the blogs were monotonous sometimes.try to take her

Class gets canceled a lot because you have conferences for every paper you write(3) with her and 2 other peers from your class. Every paper written is a "draft" and has to be revised by the end of the semester and submitted to an electronic portfolio you create. Nice teacher, paper topics are interesting
