He gives awesome information and really knows his stuff. If you have a question, he doesn't just give you the answer, he leads you to it. He's liberal, but isn't in your face about it. Lectures aren't mandatory but he bases exams on his lectures and information he gives that isn't on the PowerPoint. Had him for many classes and each were enjoyable

I like him as a person, he is funny. As a biology professor he makes me want to pull my hair out. He is super passionate about what he does which is plants. You just really have to pay attention.
